「the road to approach is dirt/gravel so be aware. cute little cosy cabin. the outdoor fireplace is the best. everything was super clean and comfy. best stocked kitchen in a while. indoor gas fireplace did not work but host gave a small reimbursement so that was ok. linens were nice and everything was provided. not really a quiet place as there was a local barking dog and a bulldozer and a close neighbor, but, we enjoyed ourselves. 」

「Cabin not clean, no sheets on bed. Someone came to clean, we had to leave for an hour after we contacted the host. Game machine doesn’t work, kids were so disappointed. Tub in bathroom had damaged faucet. Furniture was dirty had to drape blankets over it so we could sit. Rugs were really dirty. Stayed there before and it was really nice, it hasn’t been kept up with.」

「The cabin is indeed very secluded, and the layout and driveway were hard to navigate. I almost got stuck a couple of times. I had to use the back door, which stuck and was hard to open. The fire pit area did not match the photos—just two chairs and one dirty, wet hammock (there were 2 of us), unusable even without rain. 「Excellent location, spacious house with a lovely deck for sitting outside a reading or listening to the birds. Quiet with plenty of deer grazing just outside the window, but only 10-15 minutes from Elijay and other nearby attractions. We had a great time and the host was very accommodating with a last- minute schedule change. Would definitely visit again!」
