“Single traveller, using the hotel as a half way stop during a long journey. Stayed just for one night. The staff, from the reception to the restaurant were absolutely fantastic. Knew my name and used it, I felt like their most important customer, even though the hotel/restaurant seemed busy. Hotel is clean and comfortable, room (8) is small but perfect for one person unless you really want to spread out or perhaps are staying a bit longer. Some of the pipework looks a bit "vintage" but to be……

“Lovely little hotel, great host, very friendly, clean and comfortable room, we chose this hotel because it was Pet Friendly and it didn’t disappoint, the only negative is no evening meals, but you can drive into Lanark 4 miles away where there’s a great choice, there’s also a small supermarket opposite. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again”
