「This was the WORST experience I have ever had with Expedia or any hotel in general. It was extremely unsafe. There were people openly doing heroin or crack in the parking lot and non-hotel patrons trying to enter the lobby and getting in an altercation with the hotel manager or owner. The staff was even more horrible! We felt so unsafe that we left the premise immediately and called the hotel to let them know we would not be staying there and listed all the reasons why. 「Jazz is a delightful theme throughout the building with each unit decorated to pay tribute to a jazz great. The Billie suite is the best and the Duke room needs some updating but is serviceable. The hosts were extremely friendly and resourceful, greeted me in person, and accommodated my requests promptly. The clean and large communal kitchen and the in-room coffee machine is a plus. Conveniently located close to downtown.」
