I booked a room for 2 nights while my husband was in the hospital. On the first night, to my horror, the roaches began to come out of all directions.
I saw them crawling out from under the bed, from behind the tv stand, and on the curtains.
Within an hour, I saw at least 10 to 15 roaches, killing them as I go. I actually had a roach crawlling on me!
At 4 am, I went to the front desk and told them that i am checking out and explained why.
The staff member on duty, offerred to put me into another room on the second floor. Given that it was 4 am and i would have had to sleep in my car, I reluctantly agreed.
I checked out after the first night and could not get reimbursed because i booked through Expedia.
