Historic charm flows from this New Orleans gem. Originally constructed in the 1830`s, this newly renovated mansion is the perfect place for your New Orleans getaway. Featuring an expansive backyard, a well-appointed kitchen, and original hardwood floors and brick fireplaces, the Governor`s Mansion will quickly become your home away from home. Drive 5 minutes to City Park or walk 5 blocks to the French Quarter - the city is at your fingertips here. Welcome!

Sleeps 10, backyard available for use. Kitchen stocked to prepare any meals, Keurig with coffee provided. Lovely living room and kitchen with breakfast bar + dining room. All bathrooms come with essentials such as 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/bodywash and fluffy towels!

Street parking available

1% of your booking goes to direct aid charities that help displaced Ukrainian families 🇺🇦

All reservations require a $500 refundable deposit.

Would highly recommend... It's such a pleasant walk to the French quarters... The house was comfortable with plenty of space... We felt safe with the security system and the way the door locked... The house is beautiful and more than enough room for our group. Easy walk to the French Quarter. Even though it is a pretty busy street and super close to the interstate - the outside noise was not an issue and did not disrupt our sleep. The back yard area is fenced and relaxing. The hosts were helpful for the quick question that we had. Great sray!

What a great location and home for large groups in NOLA! We walked everywhere from the residence and were a few short minutes from a grocery store with everything we needed. Right next to the highway for easy in and out access to Airport and Swamp Tours. Communication from hosts was exceptional throughout! Pool, Deck, Kitchen and Dining Room were the perfect gathering places!

Ideal house for a real New Orleans feel

The house exceeded my expectations. It was bigger than I expected, and had a great atmosphere that I didn't really expect either. My group, which consisted of my family and my in-laws and their children, were very pleased with the overall New Orleans charm that the house evoked. We'd love to stay here again in the future for another trip to the Big Easy. Walking distance to the French Quarter. The hosts were always in contact and made us feel welcome.

Lovely older home with a great personality

The beds were great. Check in was super easy. The only complaint we would have is the hot water did not last long enough for 2 people to shower completely without the water getting super cold. We would stay again

Charming, historic house

A little tricky to get to only due to New Orleans streets, not impressive at first glance due to all ground floor windows being shuttered. Once we got inside it was charming with lots of historic detail, plenty of comfy beds and areas to gather. We would stay there again!
