Do not stay this hotel

The hotel facilities were seriously damaged. My room lock doesn't work. After the receptionist on the 12th morning opened the door of the room, she told me not to close the door again. I asked her how i can go out, and she had a bad attitude and was rude, and refused to open the door for me again. I had no choice but to call the police for help because I couldn't get into my room.The room smells so badly of paint, it's like a gas chamber,and a loud mechanical noise in the room.

We booked our rooms 6 months in advance. We checked in and went to our rooms. One of them had someone else in it already. They double booked it. We were moved from a room with two queens which was needed because of the number of family members to a room with one queen. They did not offer a roll away bed to help accommodate the size of the family so some of them had to sleep on the floor. There was no reduction in price offered either. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they would have to call one, but they can't do that on the weekend. It was a very frustrating and uncomfortable stay.

Facility is run down. Room was in poor shape. Door looked like it had been forced open. Didn’t close right. Safety catch was lose with a screw gone. Missing a shade on the window which let in light from the parking lot all night long. Carpet was in bad shape as well.

My shower leaked all theough the wall and my carpet was soaked. Plus habing to oay 40 a night to park. This should come with the price of the room. Absolutely ridiculous. The property is kind of beat up but generally clean. Lobby bathrooms were out of order for all 5 days of our visit. The room fridge was broken and reported the first day and nothing was done. We requested housekeeping 1 day during our 5 day visit and it was skipped. Staff was mostly pleasant but they obviously did not communicate effectively. We scheduled a late checkout and confirmed the time in the lobby a day ahead of time. An assistant manager was present and confirmed the later checkout. Then on the day of check out we had two different housekeeping crews knock way too early and ask when we were leaving. So, not terrible but not good.

The hotel is old and very dirty! The security lock in the room was broken and black mold in the bathroom! My first room had heating issues and the light in the bathroom didn’t work. On my 3rd day the fire alarm was going off for the entire facility due to the staff cooking sausage… this hotel needs a tremendous update and a good cleaning. First trip to NOLA and very disappointed!

Well i have many dislikes about this property. To start the room did not have a working safe box. I requested them to fix it and they never came. I do not like to go with all the stuff on me. My second complain is that they never came to clean up the room even though we did not have a sign preventing them from coming in they never showed up. I don't care if the beds were not made but the trash was overflowing, I had to go to the front desk to request for toilet paper They had only put one tp and it was already started, and I had to empty the trash cans myself. I also had to request for towels, We were 3 adults and one child. I don't think the manager or owner of this facility cared at all for the hotel. When I asked the cleaning lady why was my room not made her answer was that it was not her room. Honestly even the toilet bowl top was cracked and glued.

I appreciated being allowed to check in a little early. However, the room itself was disappointing. There was visible damage that should have been addressed before guests arrived, and the room was stocked with only one washcloth, which made things inconvenient. For the price and the early check‑in charge, I expected the room to be properly prepared and in better condition. Hoping the hotel improves its attention to detail moving forward.
