Clearly this property is in serious need of renovation. The lawn hasn't been mowed in at least a month, grass over a foot tall. The closet rod and shelf had been ripped out of our closet, so no place to hang our clothes. Not enough night staff when we checked in around 6:00 PM. Had to wait 10 mins or more for a desk clerk to get back to the desk. to her credit, she was very friendly and apologetic, but she was having to leave the front desk to respond to guest calls. The TV with DirecTV had been set to display 4:3 SD format image when it clearly was capable of displaying 16:9 HD format. Whoever installed it either didn't know what they were doing or didn't care. No toiletries provided, good thing we had brought our soap and shampoo. No Ice bucket, had to go get one from the front desk. The worst La Quinta I've ever stayed in.

Arrived a dusk- hotel had no lights on - even the lobby light was barely visible form the drive through upfront. Entire property is old looking, whole parking and drive area has tarmac patches missing, deep holes at places. Room door was hard to open both from the outs and from the inside. Needed extreme hard pushes. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Been told room has view to pool, all we could see was a hedge and 2-3 top of sun umbrellas, so we gathered that pool must be behind the hedge. Continental breakfast was nice, had even boiled eggs and yoghurt but no butter. Spoke to the desk manager - very nice lady - hotel was build in the 60th and hopefully a major renovation might be in sight in the next 6 month

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendly staff. The property is a little older, but the rooms and grounds were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was clean and large enough to swim in. We definitely will be back.

I stayed at this hotel in March 2022. I still think about how dirty it was. It is the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in - by far. The floors in my room were dusty, and my shoes, socks, and feet were black with dust. I didn't want to touch the ground. The bathtub and shower curtain with old and stained. Wifi was lacking, but I was able to go online some times. The staff tried to help, but there's not much they can do. I had to unplug the clock to plug in other devices. Breakfast and parking were fine.

Good Stay!
Overall, the stay was good. The value for the money was excellent. The representative at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The bathroom could have been a bit more clean, but it was mostly a positive stay. I would definitely consider staying again.

Awful!
Absolutely the worst motel/hotel I have ever seen. Building and room conditions filthy and dilapidated. Stayed one night to go on a cruise , checked in at 10:30 pm and if vit wasn't so late I would have packed up and left. Bottom line: DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

A nice couples getaway ❤️
Check in was a breeze, the room was clean and bed so comfy. The shower pressure was amazing. We went to dinner at longhorn steakhouse so we didn’t have time to go to the pool, we were sad. The landscaping was beautiful by the pool so we took some pictures. Breakfast the next morning wasn’t very good. The waffles stuck and we couldn’t get them out. Checkout was easy as well. The Staff was very friendly and helpful!

This was not what I expected, and it’s the second La Quinta that left a bad taste. Of our 7 night cross continent drive this was the worst hotel we stayed at, and the most expensive. The lobby looked nice, the rest of the hotel was very aged and needs extensive renovations. The outside stairs to the second floor were rusted. The bathroom was extremely small in my room. Only Cracker Barrell is close by for eating dinner without driving. The interior grounds looked ok, but that was the only place. Lawn chair propping open door, ice machine out of ice. The room seemed clean

This is not a standard here at our property. Our teams do strive daily to ensure that all of our guest receive a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our property is an older older hotel but, we are in the process of several upgrades. We have removed all of the carpeting out of the rooms and installed vinyl flooring, refurbished all of the bath tubs and replaced many of the televisions furniture ,refrigerators and microwaves. Our next step is to move to the out side of the property and work accordingly. I do apologize that you stay was not comfortable nor pleasant, I hope that in your future travels if you are in the area that you will give us another opportunity to serve you. We do have several other places to eat within walking distance. I'm not quite sure if your had asked anyone in our staff but, they would of gladly told you where they were located. The pictures of the hotel are not at all what we walked into. It was a run down hotel. There was a fingernail under the pillow. And the AC didn’t work. When we brought it up to the staff the only thing they could say was “I’m sorry”.

They ripped out fire detection in the rooms you sleep in. They laughed when i asked since there is no fire alarm system if on fire watch they laughed. I am in the fire alarm industry and know this is not code. Room had broken furniture. Toilet paper stuffed in bathroom vent. Then hotel wanted an extra 50 dollars. Yeah this place needs to shut down. I will be sending pictures and report to slidell fire marshall on monday when i get back home.

The property was filthy outside and inside. The railings for the outside stairs were so dirty, we couldn't touch them. The room was in such poor condition we were shocked. The bathroom toilet and and tub were filthy. There was water on the floor around the toilet. We left immediately after seeing these things.
