The staff couldn’t have been nicer , they went out of their way for you . The hotel was super clean . We enjoyed setting at the bar and chatting with the employees. Our room didn’t have a window at first I wasn’t sure but I haven’t slept that good in a long time so quiet and dark . I highly recommend this place to stay .

Excellent location, streetcars located across the street and short walk to the French Quarter. Hotel was very clean and staff were great. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

The room was clean and modern. The bathroom is nice and the beds are comfortable. The main issue is that the only window that the room has leads out into the hallway. So, no natural light. The window has slatted blinds, so you can easily see through the cracks into the room. It was a little odd - doesn't feel very private.

The hotel has great character and its in a perfect location to walk to everything. The hotel manager was the best, he told us about the history of the building, told us about all the sights, and makes a phenomenal old fashioned and margarita. The rooms are big, clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here next time we go back to New Orleans.

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel that our stay was wonderful. Staff was very accommodating, polite and helpful. The hotel is located at walking distance from everything but also has enough distance to keep the noise from Bourbon street. Security was also very friendly. Definitely will be booking again on our next trip to NOLA.

The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and responsive to request. It tends to be a very active, noisy area and they provided ear plugs which came in very handy. I would only suggest some room darkening shades and maybe a fan to help drown out noise from the busy Canal Street.

Had to leave my Airbnb urgently and looked on Expedia and found The Rubenstein. I was welcomed by Dave. Allowed to check in early, explained about getting in and out of the hotel and bar hours. Room was spacious, clean and no noise from the street car. Great location, one block from Bourbon. Street car lines to Riverfront, Canal Sreet and Superdome within 1 minute walk. Dave ordered a taxi for me to the airport and suggested breakfast locations and coupons for free coffee at Cafe Beignet. Hotel had only been opened for a few months but now will be the only place I will stay in NOLA. I felt safe walking back from the Superdome at 1:30 am after Essence Fest. Thanks Dave for an enjoyable stay and wonderful suggestions!
