"This was my family’s favorite among 4 onsen ryokans we stayed in Shikoku. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were great but onsen, especially outside both male and female in 2 days, were awesome. "Hotel was just outside the train station and was a great location to explore other cities on this island of Japan. Breakfast included locally grown items and udon noodles served in the evening were a tasty treat. Room was efficient and roomy than most without a high step up to the bathroom/shower area. Loaner umbrellas most helpful for the rainy day. Staff was friendly and shared lots of smilies. Toyko Inn has become a name we trust to use as travelers. Thank you."

"Room wasn’t what we were expecting - beds were on a platform 3 steps up and had cot sides. Also no bathtub - we asked to be moved to a different room and eventually a compromise was found. They said that Expedia has mixed up the photographs between room types "
