「Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window.」

「Avoid! We stayed mid-Sept (2026) and were excited to try an adventure of a room 'in a pub'. It was a horrific experience and we departed early. We (3 women) had the courtyard triple room (#23). As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a dampness and a strong smell of mildew. We thought heat would help but the radiator would not turn on; we went to the bar staff (part of the problem is that there is no on-site manager to resolve issues) and the bar staff told us the heat is not turned on until...
