"Pod 51 is an economical way to stay in Manhattan. It is less than a 30 minute walk to Broadway and Time Square. It is relatively close to the subway if walking is not for you. There is a small grocery store less than 2 blocks away. There are also good places to eat near the hotel."
"The front desk staff seemed highly inconvenienced by our arrival, but the supporting staff (luggage handlers) were very nice. Service at breakfast was ridiculously slow, the bar was great."
"Very nice entryway but check in took over 30 minutes just standing in line, not enough staff. Then the elevators were another hassle as we had to wait 4 elevators to actually get on and up to our floor. On our last night there the heat didn’t work nor did our rom phone, so I had to go find housekeeping for an extra blanket because it wouldn’t heat past 67 in the room. Never used the bar, gym or eat breakfast there."
"I did the breakfast buffet twice and the first day the food was close to what I would say was cold except for the oatmeal. I went back the second day thinking it wasn’t always like that always but it was. I was very disappointed"
