It was an inexpensive hotel and it was clean and adequate for 2 nights. The gratis breakfast was good. Many Europeans in the hotel and eating. That was okay. My one complaint: the curtains in room 708 closed only partway. That meant NYCity's bright lights were kin the room all night, each night. Get heavy curtains that close!

Staff were awesome! Breakfast was doable and a lot of variety. The noise on the street isn't something that I am used to but being on the 8th floor was too close to the road. Try to stay closer to the 20th floor. Also the one working elevator was slow.

Por lo anterior tuve que hacer un gasto extra y cambiarme de Hotel el 27 Mar. Expedia, solicito su valiosa ayuda para que el Hotel me reembolse, por lo menos, los días que ya no estuve ahí.

One of the two elevators was not working and that created a lot of time wasted waiting for the elevator. Had I realized there was no fixing it, I would have requested low floor at check in. Also, there was construction work going on in rooms adjacent to ours so there was a lot of noise and crowded hallway. My bad I guess- but I didn't realize Hilton wouldn't honor my honor points programs since I booked through Expedia.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The room has all the amenities that are required. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. The property is obviously older and some of that is evident but all in all, a good stay and we will be back when we require a room in Manhattan.

I reserved two rooms. Booked them at the same time. However, our rooms were on two separate floors. I can understand not being able to accomodate conjoining rooms but it was very inconvenient that our rooms were on two separate floors! One of the rooms did not have a thermostat & the cold ac was blasting our entire stay. When I brought it the woman's attention at the front counter, she just kept asking if we wanted the heat on - which was not what we wanted. It just would have been nice to adjust the air as we wanted to. One of the rooms had a leaky toilet, so we had to use one of our towels to make sure the floor stayed dry so we didn't slip when getting out of the shower. The free breakfast was an awesome plus. However, there was only one waffle iron which was also pretty inconvenient when you have a line of people waiting to make a waffle. We came to the city with a whole list of things to do & see but since the waffle iron line was so long, it set our schedule back almost an hour because our group of 5 people had to wait so long just for a waffle! Overall, the stay wasn't terrible. I've definitely had much worse experiences. However, next trip, which we are already starting to plan, we will probably look into other options.

I was there during spring break and the breakfast rooms were full of families, european and American. I appreciated the breakfast buffet being included with my room, excellent hot water pressure in the shower every morning despite being on the 17th floor. The bath towels and bed linens were very nice..it is perfect for getting to the galleries in Chelsea or hopping on the subway to uptown or the west village. The Starbucks less than half a block away on the corner of 24th & 6th Ave. has a great staff and terrific music. There are three other hotels on this block but the Hampton inn felt cozy.

Paid for 2 queen bed room for 2 night's, they say Expedia overbooked and only have 1 king bed available for a family of 4 and no price adjustment. Second day they amend and found us a 2 queen bed for which I have paid but had to wait until check in at 3pm for new room. Counter staff was not that cooperative.

We stay in NYC often- we got a great rate for a 1 night stay on a Sunday. All of the staff members extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and the view from our window was beautiful especially at night. They will keep your luggage before and after check in. Breakfast area very nice- spacious and a full breakfast. Elevators are a bit small for the size of the building. We know the area very well- street is safe at night and close to many train stations.

This hotel was very clean and the room was bigger than I imagined! The staff was courteous, we felt safe, and the hotel was in a great location for getting all around Manhattan and down to Brooklyn.

This central location in Chelsea was perfect for visit plans. Nearby subway stops a plus. Shopping and dining options in the area are good. The room was a typically small NYC room. Bathroom was a bit older, but clean. Great hot water. Our only complaint would be that the breakfast area was kind of small, crowded and often out of items and trash over flowing. We realize that big groups were staying at the same time, but it was not the best experience.

Hotel lost my confirmation with Amazon!! I am told to re-pay double of my paid cost for the room. It spent me almost 1 hours in long distance calling Amazon.ca to clarification . But so far no apologies from either party is received!!! I have been using Amazon for long long time . This case makes me very disappointed!!!!
