My stay at the Hampton Inn was a pleasant experience. The lobby, although small, was very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive during both check-in and check-out, and the bellhops and taxi service were equally helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is every other day, and during my three-night stay, they didn’t restock the toilet paper when they cleaned, which is something that could be improved.
The breakfast was very good, and I appreciated the options like almond milk and decaf coffee. However, the dining area can get crowded during peak hours, and I had to eat in my room one morning since no tables were available (I was staying on the 33rd floor). The food was cold by the time I got upstairs, but having a microwave in the room was a big plus.
Overall, it’s a simple hotel with excellent access to Times Square. I would recommend it.
