We stayed here for one night upon arrival at JFK quite late in the night to catch some sleep before we hit the road to continue with our journey. All we needed was a bed, clean bathroom and a night's sleep. I think we got just that here. The hotel is trying hard to please the guests. The breakfast is ok and we didn't expect a full buffet. There is sufficient parking and with CCTV it feels safe. With the proximity to JFK a short drive away, it is perfect to not break the bank for one night's sleep.
Now to the areas for improvement.
The property is a little old and the sound proofing between the rooms and hallways is very poor. There was a lot of loud people in the hallway talking ever so loud just outside rooms that guests are sleeping in. I think they should encourage guests to respect the right of other guests to a quiet night and keep conversations in the lobby or just not shout. There was someone playing loud music on their phone along the hallway. Basically it felt like there were some very self centered / selfish guests / staff.
Overall, I would stay here again for the one night before or after a flight from JFK which is not something I've said to other airport hotels in the past, so well done but pls try to improve on the areas highlighted. thanks..

The hotel dishonored the paid reservation without any explanation 3-4 days before the scheduled date. Expedia took the responsibility and re-arranged us for another hotel.
