It's basically a dorm room. I don't spend time in the room except to sleep. The bed was nice and the bathroom was similar to a good state park bathroom. Just perfect. Can't beat the location or price

The staff was hospitable and the location is great. But, the men's bathrooms, at least in the floor we were in, had no hot water and maintenance/cleanliness issues, particularly at night. The bunk bed was noisy and the mattresses were not very good.

Pillow was cheap not even soft felt like inflated plastic room is overly small dusty and just dirty and there are no bathrooms inside that room you have to go out in the hallway to use it and your card doesn’t even work on the bathroom door you have to push it to open it 0/5 stars would not recommend

the room was perfect for the night and maybe a few i probably wouldn’t recommend for multiple people for over a week just cause the rooms were very small, a lot of the bathrooms were crossed and not flushed or cleaned properly so i do wish those were cleaned a little more often/ even checked, but the location was perfect walking distance to just about everything and i would stay here again!

My room was dirty and I had a poop again under my pillow. I had to take my sheet and put it over the top of the poop stain. The room did have a faint smell to it. The WiFi was horrible I was not able to use the tv. Having to leave my room to take a shower and go pee was something I never had to do. I told the staff about the poop stain on my sheets and they didn’t do anything about it. They just said oh. So I’m very very unhappy with my stay. The bed was also horrible my back hurts.

The rooms are basic, but there is a great pool on the 3rd floor to swum (bring a swimming gap, goggles and a speedo style swimsuit) from 7am to 8pm (in the summer), and a big gym on the 4th floor, so the budget get you very far in terms of facilities. If it was the rooms only, I’d probably not stay here, but with the facilities and location it is worth the stay.

Location was fantastic. There’s so much to do in NYC that you really only need your room to sleep in or to have a break. It’s not luxury but does the job. We’d happily book to stay here again.
