「Room could use a paint job and some deep cleaning. Staff is amazing as is the restaurant which was quite a surprise. Heated pool was great outside room chair are great and relaxing and breakfast was excellent.」

「I have stayed in many historic spas/resorts and this one left me disappointed. Staff appeared brand new, were unable to answer basic questions and had no idea how to get the answers. Basic items were non-existent like a directory of services in the room, items to go with the coffee like sugar or stirrers, lighting in the living room area to even read by. They were pushing boat rides but no one could tell us where the boat would go once we paid $30 per person??? I’m hoping it was just the start...

「Breakfast was amazing, the view from our room was great. When we got there a staff member walked in on us within ten minutes of being in the room which made us a little uncomfortable. As we were leaving the next day a different staff member asked us if we checked out the minute we left out someone went into our room at 9:30am. It felt a bit rushed. The area itself was beautiful and certain staff were wonderful as well.」
