We checked in in on July 27, at approximately 530pm reservation made two months ago. The attendant had to wait to check us in as she couldn't confirm that a room was ready
Bed uncomfortable and clearly very old, linens looked and felt old like they had been sitting in dryer for hours. Pillows flat and again, clearly old. The furniture in the seating area was also very old but more disturbing, very dirty, we could/would not sit on it. The room was dusty, mold in shower, shower glass not clean, dirt on switch plates.
I understand that rooms can't be constantly modernized however, at the very least, they should be spotless between clients. The same applied for common areas, dusty, dirty windows, full trash receptacles.
When we arrived in the morning, we had asked front desk if she could store our luggage until check in later that day. She gave us numbered tags and said she would store them in the locked office beside the front desk. When we returned from breakfast over an our later to ask questions, our luggage was still there, very busy lobby and still one woman behind counter. When my husband asked her about putting our bags away, she responded that they were 'fine there'. He had to insist on waiting until she unlocked the door to store them. At $400 (Cdn) per night, I find this very disappointing
