「What a lovely house and fabulous hosts - everything was absolutely delightful! Easy access to everything Newark has to offer: the Square is 5 minutes away, with plenty to eat and drink and enjoy. Highly recommended for anyone needing a spot in the heart of it all.」

「The location was not in the best neighborhood but it was super close to the wonderful downtown. There were lots of things to do in a short driving distance. The house was adorable and very clean. I wish we had known the hot tub could not be accessed from the house. The keypad wasn’t working but when I called there was an immediate response and a quick solution. Communication was excellent. Overall my actual rating would be 4.5. 」

「Perfect, cozy place right on the water for my husband, 15 year old son and myself. We just needed a short, relaxing getaway to do a little fishing, walking and recharging. The Boatyard for dinner and Dips on the Lake for dessert were perfect and walking distance. 」

「This place is as advertised. It had everything we needed. Kitchen appliances worked, Keurig (kcup/carafe) was a bonus, and the house stayed nice and cool. As a family of five, we had plenty of space. Outdoor space was nice. We enjoyed eating outside and the using the fire pit. Weldon's Ice Cream Factory is walking distance. Great ice cream and friendly staff. If we’re ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.」

「We had a great time at Buckeye Lake. Close to the north boat ramp and The Boat Yard. It was nice being able to sit by the water and watch fireworks, or walk down to grab a drink or a meal and some entertainment. House is a double with one of the owners on the other half. Some small maintenance items were needed. A running toilet, drawers that tried to fall out, sticking doors. But VERY minor. The location makes up for it. Family room doesn’t have a couch. It has a love seat , and two sitting...

「Nice place for a quiet getaway.」

「We wanted to take the kids away but not to far. They LOVED the pool - very secluded. And the POND. My son had a blast on the canoe and all three of my kids loved fishing! The little bluegill were so fun and easy to catch. They won’t quit taking about how fun it is to fish. A core memory for sure. The home was clean and well kept. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful! Over all a wonderful experience! 」

「The cabin was so nice! Everything from the hot tub, the outdoor shower, and the swing beside the river was PERFECT! The bottle of wine and pumpkin bread was an added and nice suprise! Thank you for a wonderful getaway spot!」

「We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home at Buckeye Lake. The house was clean, updated, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The location was great as well. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to highways if traveling to Columbus. We’d happily stay here again. 」

「Best sunset views! We had a fabulous time making memories here. The location is perfect… there are a few docks and a ramp for easy access to the lake. We brought inflatable paddleboards and a kayak that we were able to use every day. There is a cute playground for younger kids steps away with a nice walking trail. Quite a few great restaurants just a short drive away. Brett is very responsive. We will definitely come back!」
