Wine Trip

Perfect

This property was perfect for having a place for family and friends to gather for my graduation. The location was perfect for us and the house was well stocked with everything we needed even a steamer to steam out my graduation regalia.Rachel is amazing. She showered us with kindness and recommendations for the area. I highly recommend this place.

Better than home

We feel so lucky to have stayed in this beautiful home. It is decorated with so many interesting details, yet it is so very welcoming and comfortable. Rachel provided excellent communication and information regarding the house and the area. When we arrived, there were fresh cut flowers in every room, water, coffee, and other goodies left just for us. Everything you could possibly need or want during your stay is available. All the comforts of home and so much more!

Amazing outdoor areas

We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. Thus home was a welcome sanctuary between events. We enjoyed the outdoor areas and spent most of our fee time outside.

Perfect Rental

The attention to detail in this rental is amazing. There are adaptors if you need them, toothbrushes if you need them, labels and directions for everything and plenty of outlets in all the rooms. The towels are super-fluffy and the bedding is comfortable. Everything (light, appliances, plumbing, etc) works without any sort of cajoling at all. And to top it all off, the place is squeaky-clean. We also appreciated the little details—water in the fridge, a bottle of welcome wine, the wine cups in the freezer. We had a great time.

Relaxing time at Victorian Secrets

Gorgeous House!

Had a wonderful, comfortable and very peaceful stay at this beautiful home. It was exactly as described and the hosts were super gracious and thoughtful! Walking distance to the cute main street, quaint shops and delicious restaurants. I highly recommend Victorian Secrets; you will LOVE it!

In town for a wedding, we were incredibly comfortable staying at this home and lacked for nothing except more time here! Convenient location for all things downtown Newberg (walking distance of several restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops) and surrounding area. We felt as though we moved into someone's home they vacated for the weekend! We found everything (and more) that we needed for three couples to stay under one roof. The house is beautiful inside and out. We utilized the outdoor space extensively for conversation and quite enjoyment of the beautifully manicured yard and water feature. We felt safe and pampered here. Several special touches around the house speak to how extensively the hostess pours into every detail. Would stay here again and recommend highly for adults.

Outstanding place, perfect location

Everything about this place was delightful! From the moment we arrived, the communication was seamless, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. The interior was beautifully decorated with a cozy, welcoming vibe, while the exterior and landscaping were perfectly maintained and full of charm. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more.The location couldn’t have been better—just two charming blocks from downtown, which everyone in our group loved exploring. The neighborhood itself was quiet, quaint, and full of character. One of our favorite parts was relaxing on the patio—so comfy and peaceful, it quickly became our go-to hangout spot.Overall, this was an outstanding and serene place to stay—perfect for any kind of gathering. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Perfect place for friends to play, relax and getaway

This is the perfect location; minutes to great golf, walking distance to wine tasting, shopping and really great restaurants. Quiet but close to so many attractions. The house has everything you need, very clean, great beds, fun outdoor and indoor spaces; whimsical touches everywhere. The owners have thought of everything and checked in with us! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Wedding Weekend

We were in town for our daighters wedding. It was a great place to unwind between errands and getting ready for the big day. It was also close enough to restaurants that we could walk to them. It was only a few blocks from where the rest of the family was staying so we could leave the cars.

Team visit to Wine Country

Spent a long weekend in Willamette Valley Wine Country with teammates from our Distribution company. Rachel was an amazing host and the property was perfect for our team get together. Resort Style Living

Rented this wonderful house for my three children and their spouses to attend my nieces wedding at Water Oasis. This was the perfect refuge as well as a really fun gathering place for my crew and relatives that were visting the area for the same occasion. Nice outdoor living room with a bbq area and putting green for entertainment. HIGHLY recommended and the host was extremely responsive and helpful.

A Gem in Newberg

Loved this beautiful Victorian home! Very clean, the decor is nicely done and many unique fun things to discover around the home. The host has put a lot of thought into things you would need to have a nice, comfortable stay. The porch, patio, manicured garden and trees, the putt putt area makes it complete. 7 of us stayed here and we all enjoyed our stay! The host was easy to contact and truly a great host! Location was great too! Near the town area and a nice community. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you could ask for

From booking all the way through departure the communication and flexibility of the host was amazing. Check-in was a breeze and were constantly surprised and appreciated all the personal touches and character of the house. Outdoor area was especially stunning and hanging outside was relaxing. Located close to downtown Newberg and in the heart of wine country we couldn't ask for a better location. Highly recommend staying here and are already planning another trip to Oregon based solely on the lodging of this beautiful house.

Wine tasting trip to Willamette Valley

This was by far the best vacation experience I have ever had with VRBO. Rachel is an amazing host. She provided so many unexpected extras that made this a very special trip. Rachel provided information to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as can be. I have already told family and friends about Victorian Secrets and highly recommended they stay there. Hope I will have the opportunity to go again.

Super Nice

Details Galore! Around every corner, inside every cabinet, and everywhere you look, there are charming details to enjoy! Victorian Secrets was a wonderful place to stay, and it worked very well for our group. So much thought and care has gone into making this beautiful Victorian house a whimsical fun place to be. The host was so gracious and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent stay and attention to details

We had a wonderful stay at Rachel's house. She was very responsive to questions and so accommodating. She offered to pick up groceries for us to stock the refrigerator. We even had cupcakes waiting for us as we were celebrating a graduation. It was a lovely visit and the beds were so comfortable. The house had every amenity you could imagine. We will stay at this location again. Thank you!

Wine and waterfalls

Don’t think twice about renting this house!! It was perfect for 4 adults to have as our base for our adventures in Willamette Valley! This owner has the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It’s truly a labor of love. Had everything we needed! Not to mention the “extra’s” left for our arrival; water bottles with names on them, bottle of wine & homemade jelly. The grounds are beautiful, totally enjoyed the patio with swings and who doesn’t like to play putt putt?! With the ease of communication from start to finish, can’t recommend this place enough!

Eclectic property for a perfect stay

My friends and visited Victorian Secrets during the wine portion of our girls trip. The place was exactly as pictured and described. The host was lovely and super responsive. She anticipated our every need and provided personal touches throughout our stay. There are plenty of places for groups to relax and the house is close to town which was very walkable. The host provided recommendations which were all amazing. Next time, rather than staying in Portland, we would stay at the Victorian Secrets and commute to anything we would want in Portland. Location was perfect for wine tasting and is an easy drive to Portland. Suggest using this as a good home base for an Oregon adventure. This was a perfect stay and the property was lovely and absolutely charming. The personal touches made us feel so welcome.

Absolutely my all-time favorite!

This property is enchanting, entertaining in itself..filled with surprises which kept us smiling! The antiques, artwork, accommodations greatly exceeded our expectations. Rachel has thought of everything and her attention to detail is phenomenal! She definitely personalized things specifically for us and our special occasion! We were in the area for an important family wedding with a large family staying in several VRBO locations, but everyone wanted to spend time with us, as it is a perfect gathering place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and in every direction, we discovered something fun to look at...flowers, artwork, beautiful landscaping, the putting greens...and between Rachel and her helper, Patrick, every question we had was responded to and answered immediately! This is a property that everyone should see..but it does raise the bar on VRBO stays!
