Spacious 3,400 Sq Ft Family Retreat - Sleeps 11 - Game Room + Lake View
You will be welcomed by a spacious, 3,400-square-foot updated home, perfect for families, business travelers, or couples looking for a cozy retreat. The downstairs area comfortably sleeps up to four guests and includes a full bathroom and a dedicated workspace. Upstairs, you'll find three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One of the upstairs rooms is a kid-friendly suite featuring one full bed and bunk beds (full bottom, twin top), with a toddler trundle bed underneath. Please review the photos carefully — the home sleeps up to 11 guests across 7 beds, with 3 beds located in the kids’ suite. For entertainment, enjoy a game room with Pac-Man, air hockey, and toys for all ages.
The Space This lovely home is located in a quiet, tree-lined subdivision with a peaceful lake view (please note: there is no lake access). The home was updated in 2013 and again in 2022. It’s conveniently situated just 0.8 miles from the charming shops and restaurants of downtown Newburgh, a suburb of Evansville. We are approximately 4 miles from Evansville's east side, home to attractions like the Evansville Museum & Planetarium, the Ford Center (which hosts many concerts and events), Mesker Zoo, and Burdette Park with its popular Aquatic Center.
Booking Information We do not use the automatic “Book Now” feature. A brief conversation is required before confirming any reservation. I typically respond within 30–60 minutes. VRBO allows 24 hours for communication, and I do not approve bookings without first discussing your stay. Please be sure to check your VRBO messages promptly after submitting your inquiry.
Guest Access Guests will enter through the front door using a keypad. The code will be provided the day before or day of your stay. The master bedroom closet is locked for personal use, and the garage is not part of the rental. A step-free entrance is available through the sunroom located off the kitchen — please let me know in advance if that is preferred. I ask that guests park in the driveway. If temporary street parking is needed, please park directly in front of the house only.
Other Things to Note Our backyard faces a beautiful lake, but we do not have lake rights, and it is not part of our property. Guests may not swim, fish, or walk along the lake — these rules also apply to our family. The property line ends at the neighbor’s vegetable garden behind the home. We live in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood and do our best to keep the rental process respectful and non-intrusive for our neighbors. For families, we provide special dishes and utensils for children, along with two high chairs (one of which is a clip-on type). The office area is shared with a sleeper sofa. Please note: there is a $35 fee if heavy furniture is moved during your stay.
