Bedroom 2 upstairs can be switched between 1 king bed OR 2 twin beds.
The bedroom on main level is a twin bed with trundle underneath.

On a more personal note:
We’re Don and Tammy Murphy, your hosts. In 2021, we fell in love with this charming (run down) property and began a four-year renovation journey to restore the original 1947 home and transform the surrounding wooded acreage into a scenic, sunset-filled escape.

It’s been a true labor of love, and we were thrilled to begin welcoming guests in May 2025. We’ve poured our hearts into every detail to create a peaceful, cozy, and well-appointed getaway for families, couples, and friends alike.

We hope you enjoy the tranquility, natural beauty, and thoughtful touches throughout the home, and that your stay here becomes one to remember.

This home is fantastic. Plenty of beds, beautiful kitchen with what you need, and space to entertain and enjoy time away. The back yard that leads to the firepit and lake is awesome. Glad we got the chance to spend a weekend here

Nice, clean home with 5 bedrooms. Nice back deck on house as well as a lakeside gazebo and fire pit. Check in and out were very easy and check out time was nice. Owner was nice and helpful.

Relaxing lakefront staycation!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Don and Tammy's home. It was spacious, well maintained and perfectly equipped, and a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed a bit of kayaking, grilling and even sat in the pretty lighted gazebo enjoying the night sky. The hosts were very communicative and took great care of our needs. Great place to spend quality time with family and friends!

Our family had the best time at Don’s lake house. The grounds are amazing with lakefront access. The fire pit and gazebo were big hits. Don was super communicative and answered any questions we had. There was plenty of room for our whole family and we can’t to return.

My friends and I had a great time at Don’s lakefront home! He was very communicative and helpful with any questions I had. The property itself was super spacious with an incredible view of the lake. It was walkable to a lakefront restaurant which was included on the local recommendations provided. Getaway within a getaway

The place was wonderful! Even before check-in, Don was very communicative and made sure to ask about our preferences for one of the rooms.We had a fantastic stay — the home was very spacious, and the layout was perfect for a large family.The highlight for us was the beautiful lake view. We loved the outdoor seating area right by the water — perfect for relaxing with a coffee in the morning or unwinding in the evening. The kayaks were a great bonus and made for some fun time on the lake.We will definitely be staying there again when we're in the area!
