  • Beautiful newly remodeled 4 bedroom 2 bath home located in scenic Avery County, the Christmas Tree capital of the world. Owners have supplied everything you could need for a stress free vacation. Newly installed central Heating and Air. Parking for 5 vehicles. A very short distance to the Linville Falls Winery, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Grandfather Mountain. Home is located right off of Highway so you will have easy access to the ski slopes in the winter. **PLEASE NOTE, the actual GPS address is 8452 Linville Falls, Hwy. LINVILLE FALLS, NC. **Distance to Grandfather mountain is automatically generated, in actuality it is closer to 15-20 minutes.

I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful and homey this rental was. We were pleasantly surprised by how large and spacious it felt—there was more than enough room for our family, as well as the friend we met from out of state, while still allowing everyone their own privacy.The location was incredibly convenient and close to Sugar Mountain, which was the main reason for our visit. The home was well stocked and had everything I needed to prepare meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. I was especially grateful for the washer and dryer—it was such a bonus to be able to keep up with laundry during our trip.If it only had a handheld shower head, I’d give it 15 out of 5 stars! Seriously - Don’t let this rental pass you by! Book the trip!

Weekend skiing retreat

We loved being able to stay at Dottie’s place again. This was our daughters’ birthday ski weekend with friends. Nice space and plenty of kitchen ware to cook for the group. We appreciate Jared having the letting coffee pot and also the throw blankets.

Great mountain home for spending time with friends

This is our second stay at Dotties’ place. It is always clean and comfortable. It’s nice for us to have one level with ample parking. The beds and bedding are very comfortable as well as ample amenities provided.

Everything you need and more

Our stay was well stocked more then any cabin we have stayed at and the beautiful back yard with all the Christmas trees beds were comfortable and couches in the living room provided plenty of space for family night, my only wishes was maybe a smart tv so we can log in our Netflix for the kids and a larger frying pan we were a group of 6 otherwise perfect

Great Ski Vacation

The place was very roomy and comfortable. Location was between beautiful Christmas tree farms and rolling cow pastures. Driving to the ski slopes was easy since the house is located on a main road. We highly recommend this rental.

Country, Cows and Christmas Trees!

We had a wonderful stay at Dottie’s place. Host thought of everything. Big rooms, comfy beds and lots of comfortable seating. Family all felt at home. Skiing not to far away was great. It actually snowed the day we went skiing, which made the trip even better. Loved the cows across the street and the Christmas trees all around us. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful value for the money.

Great Place!

Very nice place to stay. Would recommend to anyone. Super comfy and the kitchen has all that you need if you choose to cook your own meals. The owners are close by and even messaged us to caution us about the roads after it had snowed. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!!
