Great stay in a quiet village

Great stay at Bloodstock Barn, it's in a lovely village with a great restaurant the Old Plough . The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable with a great choice for breakfast it's only 5 miles from the centre of Newmarket that has plenty of shops and restaurants. Very quiet village and the hosts were most welcoming, would definitely recommend.

Excellent B&B near Newmarket

We were in Newmarket for a few days for a funeral. Bloodstock Barn was a good location and the room was very clean and comfortable and we were able to come and go as we pleased. Debbie and Gordon were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent venue

The B&B was excellent and very good value for money. We even had a useable fridge to stoer drinks etc. in. Only issue was like other places we stayed at recently the local pubs and restaurants are either closed or don't do food on Mondays . There was one very expensive local Pub-restaurant in Ashley not open Monday. Newmarket only had feast-food take-away outlets and nowhere to park. Will have to take this into account in future or holiday abroad!

What a great place to stay a few days

Excellent reviews accurately reflected my experience with this B&B. The last time I had just a great experience was in NZ. The owners have done a great job to make this a comfortable place to stay.

lovely stay in a quaint village

The Bloodstock barn is in the lovely village of Ashley. the rooms are quite large, comfortable and clean. with a nice bathroom. it was so quiet, parking was easy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful about the area. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. would definitely stay again.

Bed & Breakfast

Eerste keer dat we gebruik maakten van een bed & breakfast. Vriendelijke mensen, mooie en propere kamer, een beetje aan de kleine kant. Toch wel een eindje van het centrum van Newmarket. Het feit dat je hier als het ware in een privéhuis bent, komt voor ons toch een beetje vreemd over. Wij houden liever van het onpersoonlijke van een hotel.
