Great Newport escape

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean views! And still close enough to all the wonderful restaurants and shopping on the bay front !!Thank you for this cozy getaway!!!!

Spring break at the beach

The house was just what we needed for our stay. The kids loved the hot tub and the sun room was nice. However, the house next door to us was a Vacasa rental with an upstairs permanent renter. She came out to see if we could turn off the hot tub that was below her. The renters staying next to us (below her) did not close the hot tub or turn it off. We told her she needed to contact the property manager. We are not renting there and have no responsibility for that hot tub.

Clean and good private location

We enjoyed the quiet snd secluded property. The house is older, well kempt, and kitchen had all needed amenities. 2 blocks from an easy access beach was appreciated.

Winter 2-nighter

This was a fun house in a good spot. The decoration was interesting, sort of 50s/Jetsons style. Our group of 5 all slept comfortably, but the layout of the bedrooms was odd, and not very well described; in order to get to the room with the bunk beds it’s necessary to go through another bedroom.The hot tub was cool when we arrived, but warmed up overnight and was good in the morning - appreciate the quick response on this.

Sweet little retreat

This is a sweet little house with a very private back yard and lovely morning sun. A convenient walk to coffee and a little further to the Nye Beach area. It fit our family of 5 well - and I love the sunroom in the back!

Great location and comfy home!

There were a couple hiccups with check-in and the hottub went out while we were there BUT the local staff responded promptly even during a holiday weekend and we were compensated for our troubles. The home was exceptionally clean, the beds are comfy, and the location was great with easy beach and town access. Nice private backyard, and plenty of space of our family of 6!

Big fan - Jumping Scallops

It had everything we were looking for, it was close and convenient, hot tub was fun, towels were soft, bed were comfy, Chinese food up the street was AMAZING, quiet neighborhood, would stay again.

Quiet and peaceful.

Lovely place with great backyard and front view of the ocean. Finding the house is complicated, so read the directions provided carefully! Beaches, grocery stores and restaurants of Newport are all close by and the kitchen is well equipped. Had trouble with the door code three times, but phone support was good and by 3rd time, a service technician came out and fixed the problem. We had a very nice stay.

Relaxing Stay

Wonderful place to visit. Walking distance, even with young kids, to cool things in Newport. Short driving distances to many other Oregon Coast adventures. But the best part was cooking and eating around the impressive kitchen island and visiting with family. We would definitely return to the same property in the future.

Coastal Views

My family of four stayed for a week while exploring the Oregon coast. The house is definitely more vintage than updated but was very well stocked and provided everything we needed for the week. The house is in a fantastic location, in walking distance to the beach, the bay and multiple local attractions. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub made for a relaxing way to end each day. I would absolutely stay here again.

Girls Trip to the Oregon Coast

Three friends drove to the Oregon coast for 5 days and had a wonderful time in Newport. The town is wonderful and the house was very comfortable. Would do this again in a heart beat! Thank you!!

Nice but not walkable

The house was very nice and very clean. We’ll stocked kitchen. The problem was it sits on top of a steep hill which made it it unwalkable to beach and town for us elderly folk. Nothing about that in description of the property.

Cute home! Great location, walking distance to Nye Beach and the Bayfront! It was great for 6 of us though the layout was a little strange, you have walk through one room to get to another. And the floor in front of back bathroom shower was a little warped and there was only one cast iron pan for cooking. Other than that it was great!

Oregon coast fun

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and loved the hot tub. Nice kitchen and like leaving with clean clothes. The only problem was finding the house. SW 5th Street is very confusing. We spent 40 min once we got to Newport locating the home. OVERALL WONDERFUL. Great restaurants and Nye Beach is great for walking.

Great location, could use an upgrade.

We loved the backyard and since the weather was perfect, we spent a lot of time there in the shade. We could see just enough of the ocean from the front room to know where we were and walked to the beach a few times. While I loved the retro vibe and look of this house, it did feel worn. The hot tub was hot and clean, but needs TLC on the jets. The house was good for the price. Nothing spectacular or horrible. Nice place to chill.
