Great location on dead end street. Good parking. Very quiet neighborhood. Two living areas, one up, one down. Kitchen is adequately stocked. House was clean; bed in the downstairs bedroom had wet sheets so that’s a disappointment. The showers need noon-slip mats in them. One of our elderly guests skipped and fell in the shower. No tissues boxes anywhere. The house easily handled all our guests.

Stormy Getaway

Lighthouse visit

We came to visit Yaquina Head Lighthouse. The house was great plenty of room for everyone. Nice kitchen and well stocked, comfortable beds.

Small issues but mostly great

Beautiful home with lovely furnishings and amazing bathrooms. The home was mostly clean with an issue with one of the beds but reached out and they were responsive immediately. Prices were wonderfully reasonable. The things to do in the area are a blast! Highly encourage stopping at Hatfield Museum and picking up the Oregon coast quest book. Then comb it for scavenger hunts in the area. Ripley’s was a huge win for the whole family.

Nice place

We enjoyed our visit. Lots of room. Kitchen was good for meal prep. I had to wrestle with the racks in the dishwasher each time I cleaned up. It was difficult to get hot water in the showers, though we enjoyed the large bathtub. We would definitely come back.

House is great for multiple people or multiple families. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out. We had to buy a can opener because the electric one provided did not work. The pot and pans are in rough shape. I would bring your own. I would also bring something to clean tough dishes. They provide a sponge, but no scrubbers.

Few updates needed but great overall.

We really liked our stay at the house, the kids loved the upstairs rooms and loft space. We found a few pieces of trim that were loose or falling off and the bathtub drains didn't drain very well but that was really the only issues we had. The kids loved the basketball game in the garage, wish it had worked but they still loves shooting hoops. Great house, great location-so close to the beach

Big House

We had a group of 7, ages ranging from 8-60. The house had plenty of space and areas to break into smaller groups or gather together. This house was much larger than the pictures represented. The furniture had some damage prior to our arrival, I sent photos to the property manager, but didn’t have too much response. The recliner upstairs was broke. In half. Also, the chairs in the living room were very uncomfortable. There isn’t immediate beach access, but there is a beautiful trail leading to a viewing point and easy access to other beaches in the area. This house js located in a convenient location, close to stores and attractions.

Great Experience

We stayed for two nights with our family of five. Honestly the house is massive- bigger than the pictures even depict. Everything was clean save for the ceiling fan- and there were a few things that were a bit dated or didn’t work but I think that’s likely normal for a vacation house. We weren’t sure if you could easily get to the beach when we booked so I’ll just let everyone know- you can’t. Not by walking. However, there’s several great viewing points within walking distance that have benches. You can see the ocean from the top floor windows which was a nice surprise. There’s very little privacy with the lack of shades in the public areas but the house is at the very end of the street so it wasn’t too worrisome. The jetted tub did have mold in the jets- black flakes coming out, so I opted not to use it but the other two bathrooms have really deep soaking tubs. The kitchen was amazing- had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable - and the communication with the host was great. Overall, great experience!

Great location. Lovely home.

Perfect for family or large group. Be aware no walking shower on main level. Owner is aware of some minor issues needing repairs and is working on them ( microwave and stove). Neighborhood is wonderful. House is clean.

Large, roomy home. Plenty of nice furniture, beds and baths. Fairly convenient to town and beaches. No beach access (up on cliff), however short walk to an overlook, which when not foggy, you have a good view of the lighthouse. Could have been a bit cleaner for my taste.

Nice place near Newport

Large home with plenty of space, bedrooms and baths for the family. Reasonable price for the accommodations. Fairly close to town and beaches. No beach access but it's a quick, easy walk to overlook.. When it's not foggy, you can see the lighthouse. Nice quiet neighborhood. Could have been a bit cleaner for my taste.

Great house just a few steps from a marvelous view

We really enjoyed this home. The master is on the 2nd floor and the much more comfy of the two living rooms is on the second floor, but if you are fine with the stairs, it is a very comfy place to hang out with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. There is also a gorgeous vantage point with a bench just a few steps away from the house. We enjoyed walking over there multiple times and watching the sunset from there. Lovely large kitchen that was well appointed. Furnishings are a little worn in places, but it made us feel like we could relax and not worry about our kids and dog making themselves at home. Definitely recommend this home. The price was also the lowest I could find for our group!
