Run down property. Rooms were bare bones with visible damage, cracks, and scratches. Walls could definitely use about 10 coats of paint. Water pressure was intentionally poor with no toiletries supplied. Housekeeping skipped my room even though I was out at 9am. Common areas were in poor condition with rugs being worn down and many of the rooms smelling like smoke. I won’t be staying there again on my many trips to Newport.

Floors in room needed to be mopped. Staff was very friendly. Stairs in hallways could’ve been swept also. Had a broken headboard dangling off the wall. But other than that it was a good location. And I had a great time.

The room was not as stated. It was dirty and smelled. This location housed some pretty sketchy looking people. I asked for another room but none were available so I booked elsewhere through Hotels.com. No refund will be given by Motel 6 OR Hotels.com because of cancellation policy. How did I know the room was going to be dirty and stink like someone was smoking weed in it for days?? So how could I cancel properly?? The woman at the front desk giggled when I told her about the smell in this non smoking room. She was absolutely no help and she truly was rude. I wouldn't attempt to stay here at all. If you do keep all your doors locked. I know you get what you pay for but this environment was not good. Also very disappointed in Hotels.com for not backing me.

Not a bad hotel, remodeing still inside!
Was fine, called upaskedabout a weekly stay, said it wss 499 plus tax, but gotta speK to manager to confirm, i did got a diffrent price so i left! Slept fine, requested a king on ap, got a double instead, I prefer the King I requested! Not a bad hotel for a few nights, they are remodelig, so dusty in some parts of the giant hotel! Would I stay here again sure in a piinch, why not?

This place is disgusting. Only stayed cause it was 34.00 after my credit but i wouldnt stay here again if it was free. Check in states 3pm. Got there at 345 the rude lady at the desk said its nots til 4pm and room wouldnt be ready until 430. The bed was disgusting and the bathroom was even worse. If you stay here bring your own linen, towels, and water shoes to wear in shower.

Let me start by saying, I called to make sure my reservation was in fact put in because I booked through a third party site at the beginning of the week where the woman on the other end was great. When I called today to ask about early check in, I was told that this location does not offer that and I would have to wait - okay no problem. I was originally told on the first phone call that check in was at 3pm, when I arrived today at 3:30pm I was told that check in is at 4pm and that the manager does not allow any one to be checked in before 4pm. Online ALSO states check in is at 3pm... so now I was upset. I finally get to check in, girl upfront barely made eye contact and barely told me what she was doing when checking me in. There was a couple that came up behind me who I assume just checked in, stopped what she was doing to help me and talk over me to them. Now I'm annoyed. There is no elevator so if you are handicapped and they give you a second floor room, you're SOL. I FINALLY got to my room and walked into a sauna. The heat was turned all the way up and it was completely disgusting. I then checked out the bathroom - there is hair and whatever else in the tub. The sink was completely gross with hair and flem. For $230 I am COMPLETELY disgusted.

This was the nastiest place we have ever stayed!!! The floor was mopped with something greasy making the floor slick & greasy feeling!!! Air conditioning was blowing warm air. Motel 6 should be ashamed to have Aries as the face of their new port location. I have never experienced such horrible and discriminatory customer service. I had reserved a room about a month ago and paid for the room at 12 today, the women was rude but it was fine. My boyfriend, who speaks poor English, and I came in came back at 4 to check in and they refused to reserve us a room for no reason. Aries asked me what I did to not allow them to give me a room. I said I’m not sure what happened and she said I am not honest but i can have the room because I paid then told me to grab my things and go to my room. Aries refused to tell me the reason for me not being able to reserve a room. Needles to say my we left.

No hot water in shower till they came to fix and never had any hot water in sink at all. No wash cloth. Should have king size bed and didn't. Very dissatisfied.
