“Lovely friendly hosts. Very clean but bedding smelt a bit musty. Heating went off in the middle of the night so in November the room got cold very quickly, luckily the hosts had left in a small plug in heater which was great. Lots of hot water. Kitchenette area within room was a great asset. ”

“We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. “There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island.
