"Motorbike tour of Vietnam with 2 friends. Been riding for 4 hours in extreme hot conditions so was looking forward to check in and then jump in the pool. My brother arrived 1 hr earlier and warned me the check in was difficult. My check in took 45minutes. Although friendly, reception staff displayed a level of incompetence I have not encountered before…and I am a businessman who travels a lot … atleast 6 months in a year o er past 25 years. My friend arriving with me experienced the same issue....

"Going by motorcycle from Ninh Binh to Phong Nha, one can make a stop halway and use this hotel as your stop. The owner is extremely friendly, inviting me for both dinner and breakfast, and driving me around. A real personal touch. The place itself is functional, let's say, worth the price Vietnam style.
