Location Location

We booked a “River View” room for two nights. It was on the 6th Floor. The Hotel is just across the road from the “Skylon Tower”. Room was surprisingly spacious. One side of the big windows we could see the American Falls - although it was from a long distance. The other side was facing the Casino Hotel. The location is excellent! From the Hotel entrance turn left and walk down the hill 3 minutes and you are on the waterfront. A few minutes walk to see the US Falls and 5-8 minutes to the see the beautiful Horseshoe Niagara Falls. Hotel included free parking and breakfast. The continental breakfast was simple so don't expect too much. Hotel is a little dated but for the location and price, you will not be disappointed. Walk 15 minutes to "Clifton Hill" streets, and you will find yourself at a mini "Las Vegas". 👍👍 The second night we walked down the street to see the Fireworks and Light show! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and nice holiday. 😁😁

They stay I received was absolutely fraudulent and nothing like the images. I’m extremely disappointed in Expedia for not vetting their hotels or requesting up to date imagery, and for allowing businesses to lie on their listings. My hotel room was actually a motel room, with door hinges and handles falling off, spackled walls and ceilings with no paint covering, marked up floors and overall low quality. Our listings pictures looked completely different and there was no mention of a possibility of a “motel” room. I specifically always book hotels for safety reasons. Upon requesting a refund due to the completely fabricated listing, I was denied due to “policy” that only the hotel could refund me and they denied to do so. Shame on you.

J’ai réservé 2 nuits à l’hôtel. À cause de l’annulation de mon vol, je suis arrivée à 7h du matin au lieu de 15h la veille. J’ai tenté d’appeler l’hôtel une fois mais sans réponse. Je n’avais pas leur mail pour leur prévenir de mon arrivée tardive. Une fois arrivée à l’hôtel, le réceptionniste me dit que ma chambre n’est plus disponible car je ne me suis pas présenté pendant les heures de Check in. C’est bien la première fois que j’entends cela, d’autant plus que j’avais réservé pour 2 nuits. Enfin bref, j’ai dû attendre 20 min que la manageur vienne voir le problème car j’avais insisté. Au final j’ai eu ma chambre, mais j’aurai préféré l’avoir directement surtout que j’étais fatigué par l’annulation de mon vol. Emplacement pas très top car il n’y a rien à côté . Le bus le plus proche est à 10 min à pieds mais il faut monter une grande pente. Les restaurants sont à côté de cette station de bus. Sinon la chambre est très bien, très spacieuse. Dispose d’un frigo et micro onde. Par contre, le chauffage est trop proche de la tête de lit et fait trop de bruit. Le petit déjeuner est très léger. Pas beaucoup de choix.

The staff was alright but the photos looked a lot nicer than the actual room. The room was kinda dusty on the floor, the sheets seemed clean but with maybe a small stain here and there. One of the bedsheets was a bit torn. And I found a spider in the washroom. Not to mention our washroom fan was very loud but in a way that ir made a high pitched noise. It was a bit misleading as well since we were under the impression we would be in the main building but they put us at the very back of the back building.
