Fantastic Location

My hubby and I have always wanted to stay a full week in NOTL and when we finally decided to do it we could not have picked a more perfect home for the two of us and our dog. The location was perfect - close to town but far enough removed; close to the lake and parks. We enjoyed nearby golf and touring the area for future homes. The house was the right size for our needs and everything was orderly and very clean when we arrived. If you are looking for a fantastic rental property look no further!

La Vignette was exactly as described and shown in the online photos. It is a spectacular home with a great back yard. Wonderful, safe neighborhood very close to the historic town - easily walkable. It was exceedingly comfortable and cozy and made for a perfect trip!!

A delightful Niagaraexperience

My husband and I rented this charming cottage within walking distance of downtown and thoroughly enjoyed the theatre, the town, its restaurants. We had been in Niagara once before, in2016, and will definitely return sooner.

Stay was nice- location is perfect and overall the space is cozy. The house needs some work- Millwork in guest bathroom coming undone, mildew in showers and overall cleanliness needs to be improved. Linens were also falling apart. We were grateful for the stay but will likely find somewhere else next year.

Cozy cottage on one of NOTL beautiful streets

This was our first time back to Niagara On The Lake since 2019 and we’re so glad we came. The cottage is lovely and cozy and is on one of our favorite streets. The back yard is beautiful and the master bedroom was amazing! Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us.

Great Weekend Getaway

My friends and I came to NOTL to celebrate my birthday. The home was adorable with plenty of space. It was located near everything we wanted to see and do. We really could not have picked a better spot. We spent out days out and about and came back to sip wine and play games next to the cozy fireplace. Just a really comfortable place to stay.

We really enjoyed the property and location. In retrospect we Wos have liked an open fire pit. That is just a preference of ours and we knew that there wasn’t one. The location is just outside of town so very quiet but yet walkable to NOTL. We will consider rebooking for our annual trip, likely the same time next year

Peaceful Retreat

Lovely home, well kept, with modern conveniences. Loved the showers and the bed in the master bedroom was perfect for us. Our 2 dogs appreciated the fenced in back yard as well. Appreciated the cleaning supplies including a light vacuum. My husband was impressed with the wifi and enjoyed playing video games. The property management team was very friendly and responsive.

Family reunion.

The home was lovely, kitchen was fully equipped my, beds were comfortable and the baths were fine. The one disappointment was the backyard, it was not swept clean and no cushions for the table under the arbor. We didn’t use it much.

Incredible location!

We loved our stay at La Vignette. The house is lovely and the neighborhood is beautiful. We enjoyed walking to the lake. What gorgeous views. The house had everything we needed and was nicely furnished. We did not stay in the master bedroom-which is wonderful-because the bed is very high and we are short people. The front bedroom accommodated our needs. The week went by fast and we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend this house.

Cozy stay in a great location

Quaint and nicely renovated cottage in a wonderful neighborhood close to downtown shops and restaurants. Lots of seating areas to congregate with family. Main bedroom is very spacious but other bedrooms were small and hard to maneuver around beds. Suggest bringing your own shampoo/conditioner as Lavender soaps are best for hand/body wash. Driveway was tight for a truck. Beautiful outdoor gazebo and patio that would be perfect for a summer get-a-way!

Beautiful location in historic NOTL

Location of the house couldn’t be more perfect for visiting Old Town. The house is a good fit for a couple or a family with small children but it’s a tight squeeze for 4 adults! The house needs some maintenance done. Landscaping was overgrown in driveway and in backyard, things in the house need attention and it could have been cleaner, especially for price point. But, all in all, we enjoyed our 13 days in this property.

Absolutely spectacular

Perfect location in the most gorgeous neighborhood. Directly across the street from the lake. While there’s not a lake view, within a few short steps you get to a lovely park with benches where you can see the gorgeous sunsets. The inside was delightful and the bed in the master was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in I think ever. The master bath felt like I was at a resort. Only wish the backyard was cleaned a bit more by property Msnagement company as the chairs were a bit dirty to sit on with white shorts, but that’s a very minor issue.

La Vignette was even more charming than the photos relayed. The place was large enough for my adult children and I to have our own space when needed but the layout also allowed comfortable communal space. We took our little dog with us and it was a great area to walk her in but like many places now, one must remain vigilant about coyotes - you will see them. We basically left our car in the driveway our entire visit as it was easy to walk to the theatre, the grocery store and restaurants. The cottage was delightful and helped make our Christmas weekend stay memorable. We highly recommend La Vignette.

Great quiet location and a short drive or walk to town Most of teh house was very clean , but the floors were Very dirty , our feet were black. We cleaned our feet and tried it again to make sure and within 15 minutes our feet were black again . It brought this up to the home owner and the only response I received was.. thanks I will forward to cleaning service. NO apology, no I'm very sorry . This wasn't a major issue , but an apology would have bee appropriate. I would recommend this home to others after they clean the floors . LOL

Lovely Property

The house was exactly like the pictures - lovely inside and out. Everything needed was there. Sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee was the perfect start to the day. Our dog loved it. We would definitely select it again if we were visiting the area. There were, however, two issues, both of which could be easily fixed. First, we have a medium size SUV. The driveway was so narrow with vegetation that it was quite difficult getting in and out of the car. Second, getting in the house upon arrival was a nightmare. The entry code had been emailed but not until after we had left our home and we had no easy access to a computer. We had asked that the code be texted to us, anticipating this problem, but the request must have been overlooked. The emergency phone number for Jason was in the house. We had the office number but the office was closed. After a couple of hours we finally connected to a computer and Jason returned our call from our message on the office phone. Once that ordeal was over, everything was fine. Don't let this issue stop you but make sure you have a plan to get in on arrival.
