Cottage by the ocean
This was such a cute place. We visited in spring where everything is just start to bloom the yard was fenced in so great for dogs, with a cute play place for kids. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We walked several of the streets and meet a few friendly neighbors. The host was fantastic checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, Air with lots of windows and light. We spent time playing board games and reconnect. Definitely would come the area again and stay here.

Quick get away
Very nice house and location. Loved the decor especially the bubble nightlights. The host was easy to reach and the neighborhood was perfect for walking our dog. The beds could use a little updating but, otherwise, it was a perfect weekend. Highly recommend.

Wonderful visit
I am familiar with the area of Niantic it's a lovely quaint area and it's wonderful off season. So my sibling and I were there and we brought our dog and it's lovely that this location is pet friendly. So my doggy had free reign of the backyard the house was awesome decorated to the gills for the holiday season between holiday and beach theme it was just fabulous it was warm it was cozy at great communication with Mr Kelly before and at the time of my stay. It was wonderful I'd be happy to return again and I highly recommend this location for a visit:-)

Easy family vacay
The weather turned out great, walking distance to beach perfect. Fenced in yard was great for dogs. Grandsons enjoyed the swings in yard and at the club. And jetted tub, bubbles yay! Plenty of space for everyone, games and cards also supplied…..wish we stayed longer. Probably will be back maybe for a girls’ weekend.👍👍

Hidden gem cottage
We had a fantastic 2 night stay in this lovely cottage. Owner provides all the amenities you would need for a beach stay including chairs and towels. Our dog loved the big fenced in yard and our teenagers really loved the hot tub! Private beach is walkable from the house. Pictures on website really do not give this adorable place justice. It is bright and cheery and easily accommodated 2 adults, 3 teens and a dog. I would recommend this rental to any family, couple of group of friends.

Cozy cottage
The cottage was cozy and clean. We had a few issues the day of arrival (no laundry, cleaning and mowing lawn delays) but the owner promptly rectified the situation. The beach and neighborhood are fantastic, love the outdoor shower! I would prefer less decorations but that is just my personal preference.

Great little getaway place!
The house is adorable. Absolutely immaculate. Private and quiet neighborhood but close to beaches, great restaurants, Mohegan Sun and more. We travelled with our puppy and couldn't have asked for a more welcoming spot. Doggie bowls and toys, a fenced in yard and very puppy proofed inside so never had to worry about him. Comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen made our 4 days even better. Joe was fantastic to.communicate with and responded quickly. We are.already planning our next stay!

We had a great time at the house. Joe was very nice and helpful. We loved the fenced in yard, outdoor jacuzzi and the short walk to the beach. One tiny constructive criticism is maybe freshen up the bedding a bit. Overall, lovely house!

The experience was perfect - the cottage was very clean, very comfortable, spacious, cheerful, bright, accommodating, and the host was very hospitable, kind, and accessible. We really enjoyed our stay. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our fur-buddies we brought with us. We plan to return.

Quaint cottage in Niantic
We loved both the neighborhood and the fenced in yard for our four legged “baby” Gracie! The house was both comfortable and whimsical! Joe has created a charming retreat!

Perfect way to end the summer
We do a fair amount of vacation rentals as a family and this is, without exaggeration, one of the best places we've stayed. You can tell the owner cares about the home and property. Immaculately kept, very unique, close to everything you might want in that Niantic area. We can't wait to book it again!

Wonderful Escape from NYC
Came here looking for a quiet place to stay near the beach and this is exactly what I was looking for. Had a wonderful time in the area. The house was clean and exactly as described and pictured. The neighborhood was so quiet that I can count on 1 hand the amount of cars that drove past in a single day. Overall, a quiet place to stay, relax, recharge and to forget about life for a bit. The best part is that the host is a dog person himself, is very pet friendly with the accommodation and highly communicable. Would def stay again.

Wonderful beach cottage

Cute beach cottage 2 blocks from the beach
We had a wonderful 2 week visit with family at this cute, open floor plan, 2-bedroom, air-conditioned, well-equipped beach cottage. The yard was great for our yorkie and grandchildren and we loved the outdoor shower when coming in from the beach(no sand in the house). We rented a golf-cart so getting down the street to the beach daily with chairs, tubes and toys or over to the fishing pier was a breeze. The neighbor was great place for bike riding, too. Thanks Joe for being a wonderful and accommodating host.

Everything you'll need
Joe’s lovely property in new Black Point has everything you’ll need for a restful stay in Niantic. We loved the kitchen and bathroom, the outdoor shower, and the downstairs laundry room, not to mention all of the streaming services on the TV, the excellent air conditioning, easy parking, and fun touches throughout this charming house. The pictures don’t really do this place justice. In particular, there are comfy beds for 6 to 7 people, nice places to sit and watch TV, and great places inside and out for working and dining.

The best owner ever. Perfect home/yard and neighborhood
We loved our week in July 2022, with perfect beach weather every day. The Black Point neighborhood is perfect for walking and bike riding. It is a very safe, quiet and a friendly neighborhood. The Black Point Market is great for breakfast, lunch, ice cream and Italian ice. There are many beach areas, all approx 3 blocks from the home. The parking pass provided allows 1 car to park in the 3 beach parking lots. The sand and water are clean, but the water had a lot of seaweed. Joe was so welcoming and friendly. He was an excellent communicator and made feel us very welcome in his home. The fenced in yard was so lovely with a picnic table, grill, lawn chairs and swim set. The outdoor shower is so nice and was great for taking most of our showers. The beds were comfortable, but they don't have box springs. Plenty of sheets and pillow, comforters/blankets were provided. The home was furnished well, but could use some extra bath towels, dishware, glasses, coffee cups, beach chairs, beach umbrella, an extra sofa or recliners for living room seating and a better outside gas grill. The kitchen was small, but it had good appliances and worked well for eating all our meals at home. Some extra food, spices, soaps, toilet paper and paper towels were provided. The living room mini split ac unit worked great and we didn't always need the bedroom window ac units to sleep. The location is close to downtown Niantic, Niantic boardwalk, Rocky Neck beach and Harkness park. I would highly recommend this home to a single person, couples and families. We have rented approx 20-30 homes and Joe was the best owner we have met and rented from.

That moment is one I will never forget and how you guys were so understanding... You son's help was a major difference maker regarding comfortability and the future VRBO experience as I was experiencing tremendous difficulty finding someone who could hook up the HVAC unit... I really enjoyed conversing with you guys and certainly hope to have you back in the future.... Since your stay, I went to Bed Bath & Beyond to upgrade per your suggestions - I also bought a sweet Weber gas rill on Facebook Marketplace along with more beach chairs and umbrellas... If no one speaks up, then I would never really know how to improve my place so, I truly appreciate your honesty. I hope your return to work went smoothly and that you guys are doing well.... Comfortable and Relaxing
The property is beautiful. We had all we needed for a relaxing getaway. Because the cozy house is located in a quiet neighborhood it was easy to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. We heard more birds than people during our stay. I love nature so that was perfect for me. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, coffee maker and mini marshmallows to go with the coffee. We usually go to warm places for vacation, but since we were in the area for the wedding of a friend, this was a perfect location. If we were ever to return to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Sweet home with perfect yard for puppy
We had a perfect relaxing stay while our dog had the time of her life running free in the fenced in yard! The house was very clean and had what we needed. Loved the outside shower and the beach at the end of the street. The neighbors were very friendly and Sally enjoyed watching our puppy play in her dog pool all afternoon. Was the perfect get away for all of us!

Great house, great location
We loved staying at this great house near the water. It was very quiet and the neighborhood and surrounding areas were very nice. Plenty of amenities and dog friendly. Owner was very sweet and accommodating. I hope we will make it back in the future for a longer stay.

Christmas in Paradise
Just spent one night in this adorable redone beach cottage. Decorated in a Christmas Beach theme. It’s super clean, has everything you need and more! Comfortable beds, lovely neighborhood! Great location to visit Stonington, Mystic, and Old Saybrook. Highly recommend!!!

Our weekend getaway was wonderful because we stayed here! Adorable little cottage in the most idyllic neighborhood. Private beach community that was perfect for morning walks to the beach. The location was perfect, and Joe was incredibly generous and accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend a stay here! We will be coming back soon :)
