Great holiday location

Stunning views of Villefranche, which is a lively town with some lovely restaurants. It is a steep climb up from the town/beach to the apartment- not for the faint-hearted! Easy day trips by train, and some great walks. Apartment is very well equipped, and hosts very helpful.

Suburb. The old town is very charming, the beaches were fine. Good place to stay to visit Nice or Monaco. Good restaurants nearby. The appartement was very good with indeed a magnificent view. The swimming pool and parking place were super. The owners were very friendly and really wanted to help us if needed.

We stayed at the apartment for a week and had a fabulous stay. The apartment has everything you could possibly wish for - we enjoyed the evenings on the balcony with a great bottle of wine and food sourced locally. As this is also near the railway station made great use of a train as a break from driving to go to Monaco, Antibes and Cannes. Would return in a heartbeat

Villefranche-sur-Mer Magnifique

Our stay at this location was absolutely fabulous. With the breathtaking views from our terrace to the cleanliness of the unit one would be truly impressed. Our host Jean Pierre epitomizes graciousness having gone out and getting us fresh milk and tea as we checked in very late and had yet not acquired our car rental. We most heartedly recommend this stay to anyone that may be interested. We will most definitely be coming back.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely clean one bed apartment with fantastic views, being central to Villefranche. We enjoyed our weeks stay and had hired a car so the parking was a bonus. The property was comfortable being in an elevated position over the town on a main road. The town Centre and train station could be accessed on foot if you didn’t mind climbing several steep stairs but the views over Villefranche-sur-Mer were simply amazing from the balcony. Would love to return one day.

A lovely spot, with incredible views

Loved our time here. Gorgeous views, spotless place with lovely new kitchen. It worked perfectly for us. You can walk straight down the hill to the best swimming beach in the area. The apartment is very well equipped, lots of thoughtful small touches and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The hosts are absolutely incredible. They greeted me directly at the apartment and then made sure I had and understood everything I needed for my stay. The apartment itself is clean, stylish and welcoming not to mention that the view from the apartment is amazing. The apartment is even nicer than the online pictures. We very much enjoyed the quality of this apartment. The unit is modern, clean and very functional for two people. Jean Pierre and Sabine were very responsive and available to answer any questions that we had. The view from the balcony is spectacular. While the location is good, you may find having a car or utilizing ride share or bus service is worth the trip from town back to the apartment. Thank you Sabine and Jean Pierre

Perfection!

My husband and I travelled to the south of France to attend the Monaco Grand Prix. Villefranche is the most perfect, picturesque little town and the best "home base" in my opinion to explore the coast. The apartment was pure perfection. Spotless, comfortable, everything you could possibly need is there. My favourite was the million dollar view from the deck...I sat there every morning and every night. I cannot wait to return and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Jean Pierre and Sabine :)

Return to Villefranche

This was my second, month-long stay at this lovely property, with wonderful owners/hosts, Sabine & Jean Pierre. I was here for the month of October '19 just before the Covid outbreak & again for the month of Sept. '22, both times as a student of the Institut de Français. The open floor plan flat is perfectly sized for a single occupant or a couple. It is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, perfectly appointed & well-stocked with quality linens, plenty of blankets and has a surprisingly large amount of closet space in the single, large bedroom. Appliances are in good working order & easy to operate. The property is also gated, a plus as this time I rented a scooter to commute + sight-see. It has a gorgeous pool + sun deck available to use & BEST of all, a million dollar view of the Bay of Villefranche. In addition to the excellent aspects of the unit itself, it is well-located directly above the VF train station, which offers quick & regular service to Nice, or, in the other direction, Monaco and many of the small & not so small towns along the French Riviera. Just below the train station is a sandy beach and to the S, a short walk to the waterfront shops, hotels & restaurants of Old Town. The owners are polite, efficient, very responsive, punctual & organized. I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed both visits & hope to return again in the future.
