Marie was a wonderful host, she was there when we arrived, gave us a tour and explained how everything worked. The property itself was amazing, perfect location, clean and had everything you could possibly need. If we are ever lucky enough to return we would definitely stay at Marie’s Fisherman’s House.

Absolutely fantastic! Cannot praise Marie’s house enough. We stay in many rental houses and this is the best! Spotlessly clean, excellent linens and towels, comfy beds, more equipment than you could ever need, quiet, beautifully furnished, so near to the shops and the beach. It’s absolutely perfect. And Marie is a truly lovely lady. If you are visiting this area you must stay here!

Fantastic!

Myself and my mum had a fantastic time staying here. The accommodation is perfectly equipped with all things you would imagine and much more! From a shopping trolley, to all the kitchen utensils you could need in the very modern kitchen, to helpful toiletries. The air-conditioning is fantastic and both bedrooms have large comfortable beds – the place was plenty big enough for just two of us and would easily accommodate two couples comfortably.The place has a gorgeous beachside vibe, and the location is brilliant – less than five minutes to the train or the bus stop, less than five minutes to the beach, and set one street back from a fantastic High Street with a local butcher, fishmonger, cheese shop, convenience store, grocers, bakery. The street is extremely peaceful and we heard no noise at night.Plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby and a great base for exploring the coastline as the train and bus connections are fantastic. We also found the E bike stations around the corner super helpful for a 30 minute cycle along the seafront into Nice. Our host was extremely kind, helpful and communicative – she left a lot of nice touches in the fridge to welcome us and was also extremely helpful storing our bags on our final day when we had a very late flight back home in the evening. Thank you!! wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Lovely holiday, house and host

My friend and I decided to take a trip to Europe and landed on Côte d’Azur. Saw a video on Cagnes-Sur-Mer and found this perfect cottage in Cros de Cagnes just a short bit away. This town is 10 minutes from the airport and a perfect base to anchor while exploring the region. Marie met us upon arrival and showed us all of the particulars of the home. It is exactly as shown and even better in person. She decorated the whole home with thoughtful touches and made sure that it has every convenience. The beds were comfortable and the entire home was lovely. The location was great, you can walk to markets, bakery’s, restaurants, shops, and the sea in just a few minutes. The school is right behind and it was cute to hear the little ones playing. The little avenue is so charming, it’s quiet and there’s a touch of whimsy with each home having its own unique garden. I wouldn’t change one thing about our stay. Marie is so lovely and responsive. She lives next door and as we learned is a talented artist, so be sure to ask her about that. Cros is a laid back town with lots of amenities and a wonderful spot to stay to get away from the larger places nearby, but close enough to get to any of the places in the area.Would be so fortunate to go back and would definitely stay at Marie’s again

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem zauberhaften Fischerhaus war unvergesslich.Es ist alles für einen entspannten Aufenthalt vorhanden. Ausstattung! Flaire! Lage!Und Marie unglaublich freundlich!Dieses kleine Fischer Häuschen ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Wir werden wiederkommen!!!

Location atypique dans une allée fleurie hors du temps

Petite maison de pécheur dans allée fleurie, hors du temps, et hors de l'agitation de la Côte d'Azur. Location décorée avec goût, moderne et très bien équipée ! Plage, commerces de proximité, restaurants et la gare sont proches, pas besoin de prendre la voiture (place de parking sur place). Un plus pour la région.Marie, la propriétaire est aux petits soins, bienveillante, et de bons conseils. On reviendra sans hésiter, un vrai coup de cœur.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!

Das kleine Häusschen entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Wir haben unsere Woche bei Marie sehr genossen. Hervorheben möchten wir gern noch einmal die tolle Ausstattung u die Top-Lage. Man ist mitten im Zentrum, wohnt allerdings 2 Min zu Fuß in einer süßen Seitengasse. Es ist alles vor Ort, was einen tollen, individuellen Urlaub ausmacht. Wir haben es sehr genossen mitten „im typischen“ französischem Leben zu sein und nicht in irgendeinem Touristenort. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Vielen Dank, Marie!

Schnuckeliges Haus nahe am Meer

Das Haus ist total liebevoll eingerichtet von der Vermieterin, die Künstlerin ist. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Haushalt, am Strand oder unterwegs brauchen könnte. Zum Meer sind es weniger als 5 Gehminuten.

Un grand merci à Marie, une hôtesse merveilleusement sympathique et pas compliquée. La maison de pêcheur est aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, d'amour, de soin et de praticité. Il ne manque rien. La cour en terrasse est très accueillante et bien exposée au soleil, et un parking privé et sécurisé se trouve devant la maison.

petit coin de paradis

C'est une maison bleue cosy dans une rue fleurie, épargnée de toute nuisance, bruit, foule. On se sent comme dans un cocon de sérénité. La location est charmante, très bien décorée, d'une propreté impeccable, tout y est optimisé et rien ne manque, Marie pense à tout pour le bien être de ses locataires. Elle est d'une gentillesse et d'une bienveillance extraordinaire. La présence d'un parking est un plus mais l'on peut faire beaucoup à pied (gare et bus à proximité), d'autant qu'il y a de très bons commerçants à deux pas (boulangerie, boucherie, primeur, caviste, poissonnerie....) et cherry on the cake : la mer se trouve à 100 mètres.

Great Space - Cool Location

This was a fantastic place to spend a week close to the beach. The property is cute and very well equipped. We like to cook, and the kitchen, while small (and size appropriate for the property) was very well equipped. Also on-site are an electric grill and a great outdoor space. Marie, was a great host, and checked in on how we were doing a couple of times to make sure we didn’t need anything. The location was better than we expected, just off a cute little street and the surrounding area has lots of options for food, several bakeries, and fresh produce, meat, and seafood, as well as a wide variety of restaurants. The local bus and rail systems were easy and efficient to use. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely plan on staying again (if it isn’t already booked) next time we’re in the area.

Séjour très agréable

Logement très confortable, très bien situé, très bien équipé. La propriétaire est charmante et à l’écoute. De plus la possibilité du parking est un plus non négligeable dans cette zone où le stationnement est payant partout. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway

When I saw this listing I knew immediately that this was the place I wanted to stay, and my instincts were correct. The house is even more charming than in the pictures and the location is ideal. It’s on a quiet street, but close to every convenience. There are restaurants, shops of all sorts, including a nice grocery store, within walking distance. And both the beach and train station are just minutes away. Marie is a wonderful hostess and she was available any time we had questions. The stay was perfect and I hope to return again.

Tolle Lage, sehr individuell

Das kleine Haus liegt in einer hübschen Seitenstraße. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind super. Obst und Gemüse, Fisch, Büchereien, Schlachter, Käse direkt um die Ecke. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Es lohnt sich zu kochen Aber die Restaurants auf der Hauptstraße sind auch gut. Alle Ausflugsziele an der Cote d'Azur sind bequem mit Bus und Bahn zu erreichen. Es lohnt sich!

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Fischerhaus

Wir wurden am Anreisetag von den Vermietern sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden (Küche mit Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Parkplatz etc.). Die Lage ist sehr gut, fussläufig zum Meer, mit vielen Geschäften in direkter Umgebung. Auch ein sehr schöner Markt findet mehrmals die Woche fast direkt vor der Haustüre statt. Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt und können es weiterempfehlen.
