The Villa Mathilda is a beautiful villa is the South of France with all the amenities you could ask for . Beautiful pool and stunning views of the Mediterranean, as well appointed kitchen . The host Tracy was wonderful. Great vacation!

This house is perfect for a family who likes a clean modern central house in the Cote d'Azur. The kitchen is fully loaded with all kind of furniture; the beds are very nice, bathrooms perfect. If there is something; Tracey is always there (we needed her just 1 time in the 12 days we stayed in the house; everything was perfect and okay).

Family of five had a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. Modern, clean and equipped like your own home. Some excellent touches of class to make your stay more comfortable. The villa situated on a mountain side with great views up and down the valley. The pool is a good size and is kept very clean with a cover to keep the bigs out at night. Good areas inside and out for eating or relaxing. We had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to return in the future!

This is a great property. Fabulous pool, fabulous view and to be honest. I struggled to find anything it didn’t have. It’s a short drive from Saint Laurent Du Var and the train to Nice and Monaco or Cannes. There was some difficult getting taxis both Uber and local but it worked out eventually. Really quiet at night and not for those who wish to be in the middle of things with the ability to walk to bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this to any family. Tracey was in contact with us prior to arrival which made everything happen smoothly and efficiently.

The villa is a true succes. Modern, very well equipped and fully air-conditioned! Which is a must at a 30-35 deg. C outdoor temperature... The pool and surrounding area perfectly fitted all our needs for relaxation. The villa is situated in a very quiet area with a beautiful view to the mountains and the bay of Antibes. The disposition of the villa is very well thought through; providing three separate bedrooms, each with a luxurious bathroom (one even with a bathtub) at first floor and a combined kitchen and living area downstairs. Having teenage boys bringing their girlfriends makes the room disposition perfect. Car is needed for access to the place and to the nearby supermarket (10 min. drive uphill). Center of Nice can be reached by car in 30 min. Only room for improvement; the internet (WiFi) connection is very slow. We will love to come back and we can high recommend "Villa Mathilde" !

We had a nearly perfect stay in the villa. They have thought of everything. The bedrooms are spacious and the villa is accurately depicted in the photos. There is nothing for you to worry about at all! Just make sure you take plenty of bug spray for the rooms and your body. We all got 15 to 20 bites whilst staying there. We stayed in the hills on the other side of Nice prior to this villa and had no problems so definitely not the time of year. Also whilst you need a car there is really very little, well nothing around the villa. An uber in to Nice is about 30 Euros. St Laurent du Var is ok. Down by the beach is OK. Don't know why you would go there though when you have Nice and Antibes just down the road. If I could pick this villa up and move it it would be a 5 star though. So if you don't care about the location this really is one of the best places you will ever stay in. Thanks for such great service along the way and welcoming us.

We had an excellent vacation in the South of France made much more pleasant because of our stay at Villa Mathilda. The villa is as advertised and true to the pictures shown on the website. The location is up in the hills overlooking Nice (with a nice distant view towards Antibes). The location is very calm and quiet, and you only hear the sounds of birds and the cicadas. However, it is only some 15-20 drive to the promenade in Nice. Supermarket is about an 8 minute drive up the hill. You will need a car in this location. We are nicely met by Tracey, who showed us the villa, and had a comprehensive manual of how to operate the various appliances etc in the villa. The villa was spotless upon our arrival. Noting that the villa is very new, and is in excellent shape and is built to very high standards. The pool is wonderful, very large and the deck is nice with 6 pool loungers and two parasols for shade. There is also very nice deck furniture which we used extensively. It was great having the gas grill, and the outside dining area, again something we used extensively. Overall, and excellent stay and we are likely to come back again next year.

Die Villa ist perfekt. Es fehlt an nichts. Jedes Zimmer ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Einrichtung von Küche und Wohnzimmer ist modern und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die 3 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad sind in der Gestaltung farblich jeweils aufeinander abgestimmt, die Betten absolut bequem. Die Bäder neu und modern. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe: ein Traum! Für die Teenager:W-LAN :-) aber auch Tischtennisplatte oder Fahrräder. Und der Pool selbst im Oktober noch geöffnet (ist in vielen anderen Unterkünften ab 1.Oktober geschlossen). Getoppt wird alles durch die zauberhafte und charmante Managerin Tracey! Danke für diesen schönen Urlaub!

Beautiful property 30mins from Nice centre and 10 mins from the promenade at St Laurent du Var. It is a bit isolated so a car is needed to get about, especially to the Supermarket but otherwise nice and peaceful with great views. Uber is not the most reliable there. Jean Paul, the owner, was very helpful and acommodating. Overall, wonderful.

Ich kann mich den Vorrednern*innen nur anschließen. Wir waren als Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern dort und es war für alle perfekt. Der Pool ist groß und sehr sauber, es war fantastisch. Das Haus ist hübscher als auf den Fotos, mit hochwertiger Ausstattung, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Ein großes Lob an die Besitzer für ihren guten Geschmack und an die charmante, freundliche Hausverwalterin Tracy, die wirklich einen guten Job macht! Vielen Dank nochmal an alle!!!!

Very, very nice house. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very nicely and super well equipped. The house was very clean, nothing was missing. We recommend it especially to families with slightly older children. (unsecured stairs). Tracy is a great host and made us feel welcome. There is a beautiful view of the sea from the house. A car is highly recommended as shopping facilities are about 10 minutes drive away (hilly). We would come again immediately.

Sur place, la villa est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Par où commencer ? La villa est spacieuse, avec tout le nécessaire : des serviettes pour les transats, la cuisine équipée dispose de tous les ustensiles nécessaires pour cuisiner et manger (très beau service de table), je précise qu’il y a également un congélateur. La villa est décorée avec goût. A 5 minutes en voiture du petit centre ville de Saint Laurent du Var. Impeccable au niveau propreté. Villa à réserver les yeux fermés. Merci à Tracey pour les échanges simples et efficaces lors de la réservation et son accueil chaleureux sur place pour les check in et check out.

We cannot say enough about our stay at this villa. The property manager was accommodating and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service for us. Our travel plans changed suddenly and she was flexible and very quick to respond. The villa itself is 100% accurate to how beautiful the pictures display it. It is very well-stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable and the common seating areas were well-arranged for our party of 4 adults, but could easily accommodate up to 6 adults. We cooked our meals in the villa and were lacking nothing. The grounds were well-kept and the pool was very clean, as was the hot tub. The views from the villa are stunning and the location is close to a small town which has everything you need. Our only complaint was that we had to leave. We will definitely be bringing our kids and their partners back to this villa with us. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay while being very close to the major attractions along the French Riviera, this is the spot for you!
