Lovely visit!
My family stayed for a week. Overall, the property is very good for the value with enough room for everyone. The bedrooms are ok, mattresses could be more comfortable. The kitchen, dining area and living room are set up very nicely and are comfortable. The outside area, complete with patio furniture, pool and grill area, is set up well and we enjoyed it.
Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a couple things we noticed. First, the house was not fully clean. Many of the glasses and dishes needed to be washed first before using as they had dust or didn't look clean. There were some cobwebs in the upstairs bathroom celing. And there was a lot of cat hair, noticeably along electric sockets in the upstairs bedroom. The property is advertised as pet-friendly, yet for anyone who may have allergies to cats specifically (there is a cat feeder and a small cat-house near the fireplace one easily notices in the downstairs living area), this could be an issue.
Although close to old Vence, it's more like a 15-20 minute walk to the center. 5-10 minute drive so we mostly drove and easily parked in a lot in old town. Location is very quiet and peaceful, and it was great to be only 10 minutes from St. Paul de Vence, which we highly recommend. 30-40 minutes drive to Nice.
Overall, it is a very nice property for the value.
