Family holiday in Carros

The house was as made for my family. We were 3 couples and 5 children (13, 11, 10 + 2 X 5). The rooms and the garden with swimming pool were great. The kitchen very well equipped and the living room nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our week in Carros very much.

Wonderful time for three generations

We were 11 persons, in the age 1 to 71 years old, and a dog. The house was perfect for all of us - the pool, the beds, the kitchens and garden. The view is spectacular. The house is on the slope of the hill and has a fence all around it. The pool is in very well maintained.

Amazing stay!

Could not recommend this property more. Absolutely idyllic location about a 30 min drive from Nice. Patrick is an amazing host and was on hand for all of my (very annoying) questions! Such a beautiful place. There were 6 adults and 4 children in our party and everything was perfect. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

Carros village

Nice and lots of space both inside and outside, well kept. The bedrooms were very clean and nice decorated. The kitchen also very nice and well equipped ans had good spaces for cooking together, We were 14 persons and it worked out well for us but with 2 families with 3 children and one with 2 children it was a bit of a puzzle to have all families together. The owner, Patrick was early in touch and left very good information, both practical about the house and location and tips about restaurants etc. We very much enjoyed are stay in this beautiful villa!

Dirty house and dirty pool

We were two families that spent a week at the house that is located very nicely in the mountains approximately 30 min from Nice. The house itself is a very nice house with a perfect plan solution for two families. However the kitchen was unfortunately very dirty. We had to clean all the dishes and the fridge and throw away old food. Also the barbecue area was very dirty and we had to clean that as well to be able to use it. The outdoor as well as the pool area is very nice and beautifully decorated. But also here we had a problem with the maintenance. During our stay at the house the pool started looking very dirty, with something unknown on the bottom that looked like dirt or sand but didn’t feel like it (might have been salt crystals). The pool became very cloudy and we were unable to see the bottom. It looked like the filters didn’t work properly. We contacted the owner and explained the situation. Quite reluctantly, we finally convinced him to send someone to look at the pool. All the pH and chlorine values were completely off. It took several days before the pool looked somewhat clean again and we were unable to use it for a couple of days. We used a lot of time checking the values as we didn’t want our kids to go in to a dirty or unhealthy pool. When talking to the owner about it and discussing compensation for the time we used to contact him, the pool man and worrying about it during our vacation as well as the time we were unable to use the pool, the owner sent us an email saying that he should charge us for the maintenance issue of the pool. We also told him about the dirty kitchen that we had to clean and sent him pictures, but again he didn’t regard our complaints at all. It could really have been a fantastic stay, but unfortunately we had to deal with a lot of issues that took away precious vacation time.

Sehr schönes Haus, etwas außerhalb von Carros, ca. 30 Minuten von Nizza entfernt.Haus besteht aus 2 super eingerichteten Wohnungen mit jeweils einer Küche Wohnzimmer.Deshalb ist es auch super Möglich ist, als größere Gruppe das Objekt zu nutzen.Das Objekt haben wir sehr sauber vorgefunden. Ausreichend Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren vorhanden.Auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter war hervorragend.

Bezauberndes Anwesen

Das Anwesen und die Umgebung waren bezaubernd und ruhig. Meine Familie und ich hatten eine wunderbare Zeit hier. Wir alle haben den Außenpoolbereich absolut geliebt und verbrachten die meiste Zeit dort. Das Haus allgemein, insbesondere die Küche waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein grossartiges Haus fuer viele Personen. Leider gab es Anfang des Jahres einen Wasserschaden, der in einem der Zimmer und Badezimmer zu Schimmel führte. Dieser Schaden und die Schimmelsituation wurde uns vor unserem Aufenthalt hier nicht mitgeteilt, und wir konnten diese Zimmer während eines Teils unseres Aufenthalts aufgrund des starken Geruchs nicht nutzen. Kinder und Eltern (Bunkbedroom) mussten fuer einige Naechte im Wohnzimmer schlafen. Wir haetten uns hier eine besser Kommunikation mit dem Hauseigentuemer gewuenscht. So etwas muss vorab erwaehnt werden! Wäre nicht die Schimmelsituation gewesen, hätte ich dieser Unterkunft 5 Sterne gegeben.

Gezellig huis met zwembad en alle benodigdheden om lekker te koken

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in een mooie omgeving en dicht bij Nice. Wij waren met een groep van 4 volwassenen en 5 jong volwassenen. Zij hebben zich ook uitstekend vermaakt in oa Nice en Monaco; maar ook gekookt en lekkere pizza's gemaakt in de pizza oven.

La source Claire in a beautiful Villa, with everything you need for a fun relaxing holiday. The layout is perfect for having more than one family sharing . Das Haus ist wie beschrieben. Alles in Ordnung und auch für große Gruppen ausreichend Küchenutensilien und Kühlmöglichkeiten sowie Sitzgelegenheiten. Klimatisierte Räume gibt es zwar nicht, haben wir aber auch nicht vermisst. Abendliches Lüften und - wenn erforderlich - mit den dort befindlichen Ventilatoren nachgeholfen. Ungewöhnlich: Der Geschirrspüler ist im Außenbereich installiert. Ist aber überhaupt nicht nachteilig. Frische(s) Kräuter und Gemüse aus den Beeten durften von uns mit gebraucht werden. Sehr positiv: Man findet eigentlich den ganzen Tag um das Haus herum ein schattiges Plätzchen im Außenbereich.

La Villa est très bien situé, une demi heure de l`aeroport, dans les collines au-dessus de Nice.La villa est très bien équipée, il y a tout-ce qu`il faut aussi pour les enfants. Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben 2 wundervolle Wochen in diesem außerordentlich schönem Haus verbracht. Das Grundstück ist sehr großzügig angelegt und wir waren besonders vom Pool und der Pétanque Anlage sowie der Außenküche begeistert. Aber auch das Haus mit den 2 Wohnungen ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Blick auf Carros village ist traumhaft schön. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer verlief problemlos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Superb view and nice facilities

We stayed 13 people for a week In the house In Carros Village - 10 adults, to teenagers and one kid. We enjoyed the house a lot. Superb view from the terrace. Nice spots several places on the ground where we could enjoy the sun, read a book and enjoy our meals. The outdoor grill facilities were fine. The pool was nice and lots of sunbeds to use. The indoor facilities worked fine for 13 people. But it would be nice with normal beds instead of bunk beds In the two out of five bedrooms. It did not match the adults very well. The surrounding area is nice. Carros Village is a short walk from the house. Very pretty little village with a good pizza restaurant and little grocery where you can buy croissants and baguettes In the morning.

Notre séjour à la villa Source Claire a été parfait en tous points, ce que nous avons découvert était supérieur à la description sur le site, nous n’avons manqué de rien si ce n’est quelques jours de plus !!! ..... La villa de Patrick est magnifique, nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous étions un groupe de 14 amis et notre semaine s'est parfaitement bien déroulée. La maison est très comfortable, de plus, la pétanque le ping pong et la piscine nous ont permis de passer de très bons moments.
