“The house was amazing. Very warm, convenient location to relax in the city. I would recommend.
As other reviewers said, there is a motion detector light going off many times at night and you can hear a bit the cars in the night passing, but that was not a problem for us at all. Would definitely rebook.”

“Property was excellent. Easy to trains and buses. Kitchenette was fully stocked. Had everything you need if you wanted to prepare your own food. Only problem is property is close to a busy street and tradfic noise during the dav is a problem. Other than that, highly recommend. ”

“This machiya is stunning and a great alternative to a traditional ryokan. RESI stay make staying here easy with reception office near Kyoto station, a place to leave your bags for the day and a shuttle bus to your accommodation in the afternoon. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The accommodation has been recently renovated and spotless. The traditional wooden ofuro has probably got to be the best bathing experience we have had and can hold 2 adults lying down. The place is conveniently……
