由接待, reception,客房及酒店都給予人舒適親切感.唯獨美中不足是早餐後想要一杯咖啡,服務員說沒有,要到大堂自取,如此級數的酒店實在有點失望！

第一次遇到搭纜車才能夠到達Lobby的飯店，非常新鮮有趣，整體而言只能說一句不愧是星野 界系列，房間舒適寬闊，房內的湯池是半露天，秋天泡起來非常舒服，晚餐精緻豐富，早餐是簡單的日式早餐，下次有來鬼怒川還會再來入住

很星野 我和先生穿他們的外套出現過敏症狀，沒穿就沒狀況，我們是不想說衣服不乾淨，但好像就是這樣 食物好吃，很有創意，2天的食物都不一樣 旅館環境也很優美作人員服務很好，感覺賓至如歸 只是鬼怒川本身沒甚麼好玩，住2天只能待在飯店吃飯，泡湯，還好最後一天晚上去湯西川溫看雪祭點燈，ㄧ切的不虛此行了

一行人抵達旅館時行李都下好了才被告知旅館的接駁車故障要我們把行李重新上車帶我們走另一個入口，結果把行李重新上車後又被告知接駁車修好了又再把行李搬下車，搞得大家還沒進旅館就已經灰頭土臉。晚餐時有一人的鍋物顏色較深味道也特別鹹，向服務生反應後得到的答覆是「所有人的湯都是同一鍋料煮出來的」，這個答案有點令人無語也不應該是這麼高級的旅館該有的答覆吧？感覺挺掉漆的…

I had a really excellent and unforgettable stay in KAI. First you will have an interesting entry by taking a cable car from the entrance to the lobby, and then you will get a superb environment, the decoration looks fantastic, all the staffs are nice and helpful, the food tasted brilliant, everything is extraordinary good and almost perfect in this hotel.

The room was beautiful and the private onsen is great for those who have tattoos that cannot be covered up. The rooms were spacious and the welcome snacks were delicious.

This is an additional review to the first. To those of you thinking that it’s a good location, forget it. Yes, it’s scenic forest with a lot of vegetation. But it’s too secluded. Theres absolutely nothing you can walk to. You have to taxi everywhere. To give you a picture, it’s like 10-13 mile to the Tobu line and a little more to the JR Station. Just a simple taxi from the station to the hotel is like $60 average for a half hour drive. The hotel offers no Shuttle services. So, plan to add a lot more for your local transportation budget. Just Going from the hotel to a tourist spot can vary. It’s better to hire a drive/car for a day than pay for separate taxis. 3-6 hours. I’m guessing we spend $300+ per day minimum. Daily you have a $120/day just going up and down the mountain then you have the cost of visiting sites around the mountains and local area. You can try public transportation, or sign up with a tour bus company. Not my Cup of tea. I find that 3 days at an Onsen is a day too much. So, I can say, “been there and done that” No need to return to Nikko. Very disappointed in Hoshino Kai, which was my brand of choice. It might just be this property. Did i mention this irritant? I purchased from their curated gift shop, over $400 worth of Omiyage (gifts for friends and family). The hotel didn’t offer any gift wrapping or even packing plus a charge for a bag! Shame!

What a lovely break from the busy day to day of Tokyo. We did this resort on a quick trip from Tokyo and the onsen and food were amazing.

Outstanding, beautiful resort to relax and unwind. This place is perfection. I had the room with a private bath that overlooked the garden. So beautiful and serene. The curated kaiseki meal and breakfast were incredibly delicious. Highly recommend this resort, will be back again!
