"Mary Lou was so nice to chat with, and very helpful. Sharing with us the history of the home was so fun. Such a kind soul. The peace and quiet was so nice. Discovering the history of the home was so fun! Why are there no fireplaces?!? Basement? Crawl space? See what you can find. Play records on the…well, what is it? Victorola? Hmm But be respectful, put everything back as you found it, so others can enjoy it as we have."

"Efficient check in. Very good value. Great public areas and spacious comfortable room. Entrance for hotel not clearly marked (cf.casino entrance). Friendly and cordial staff in hotel. We did not visit either the casino or restaurant areas. Nice amenities in hotel. Would stay here again. Location is at edge of New Buffalo in area with woods and deer."
