Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). ”

“Die Unterkunft besteht aus 2 Cabanas und einer Restaurantterasse, welche den Gästen vorbehalten ist. Die Cabanas befinden sich in einem großen Garten und so hat man viel Privatspähre. Wer es ruhig haben möchte, ist hier richtig. Wir hatten mit 3 Personen die beiden Cabanas gebucht und waren für uns alleine. Meine Begleiter feierten Geburtstag und Hochzeitstag. Dafür wurde geschmückt und eine Torte besorgt. Zum Strand sind es 5 Minuten Fußweg. Hier findet man weitere Restaurants.”

We booked this place last minute due to having to change our original plan (Kandy & Ella) because of the recent Cyclone. Although Lagoon Gate can appear a little isolated it is an absolute gem as you are in and amongst nature & right on the Lagoons edge. It is so easy to get out & about, the staff will order Tuk Tuks or Taxis for you or if you feel……
