"受付と宿泊場所が別館になります。受付の対応も素晴らしく、スムーズに対応していただきました。別館の入り口は狭く2階以降が客室になります。内装はリノベーションされていて、とても綺麗で広く使うことができました。浴室も少しコンパクトにはなりますが、コストから考えると十分です。近くにコンビニなどがないため、ある程度買い物をしたあとに立ち寄るのが吉です。ホテルから駅を挟んで向こう側にスーパーがあります。ホテルの正面向かい側の道沿いにイベントスペースや飲食店があります。私はそこにあるTAP8という燻製料理と地ビールのお店が好きで、今回はここに宿泊しました。またこちらに訪れるときは利用させていただこうと思います。"

I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "SANUはドッグフレンドリーがあるので何度か利用させていただいています。我が家のわんこも自宅のように落ち着いて過ごしている様です。 MOSSのタイプは初めてですが、窓が広く開放感があり良いですね。 BEEの方がお篭り感がありますが、MOSSは明るくて部屋で過ごす時間が心地よかったです。今回は雨で焚き火出来ませんでしたが、備品などはいつもながら最高でした。また是非是非泊まりに行きたいと思います。"

"The hotel is older but well maintained. In our case there was not view because of the weather, and there is not really any restaurants or shops within walking distance. There is a shuttle to town, but the last one leaves before dinner. The staff were excellent and the hot bathes fantastic. If the location works for you, and you don’t mind well-maintained older rooms, this is 5 star."

"I wish I never had to leave. I don't remember the last time I felt that relaxed when I was in my own private Onsen. And the shear beauty of the location as well. It was simply serene! The staff put my name on everything, including the menu for dinner. There was also a museum on the first floor teaching the history of onsens. All and all, an absolutely amazing experience!!!"

"This inn is in a very convenient location- it’s very central. Easy cab or Uber ride from the station, or easy enoigh to take a bus. 5 minutes from Kenrokuen. Be aware this is a Japanese style inn with shared toilet facilities and a shared Japanese style bathroom. The shower / bath is open each evening but not in the morning. The bathroom door does lock so you do have privacy. The innkeeper and family live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a short time after check out. They were also helpful witj specific restaurant recommendations. If you want a genuine Japanese ryokan"
