"Loved this place. Felt very calm and relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay here!"

"Amazing Hostel, would highly recommend staying here. Everything is kept very clean and the stuff was very supportive and kind. Also the location was perfect to explore Kyoto, with several lines and buses in walking distance."

"Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home."

"It was a wonderful stay, a nice experience in a Japanese house. Mama and Papa are so kind and generous, very welcoming, and the place is so cosy and charming. I'd happily come back and stay here! 😊🤗 "

"This is an absolutely great hostel - brand new, very clean, spacious ground floor (this is the common area) but maybe not enough seating when the hostel is fully booked (add a couch?). One can feel that everything is brand new, my room (8 people dorm) had a top light and bottom lights (next to the beds) for the night, which I thought was great. The bed is very comfortable and you can choose between three or four types of pillows (sic!)! My bed had a total of 3 power outlets + 1 USB port + my own...

"Everything perfect, clean, staff very kind "

"Close to Nijo castle, everything so clean and staff really care about us!"

"Nice place."

"Very close to bus stop and train station, clean rooms, shower and comfort rooms, caring staff."

"The staff was really nice and helpful. It was our first time together in Kyoto but they explained all the locations to visit in the city and some nice restaurants. If we have the chance to go back to Kyoto, for sure we will stay there again. "
