"Great place to stay!"

"Stay away they treat you poorly if you are not a timeshare owner. Place is rundown and in desperate need of upgrades. We were greeted at our unit by a dead bird. Blinds broken (not room darking), tiles cracked, microwave cracked, fireplace made the unit smell like gas, no shampoo or conditioner or lotion. I could go on and on. We were forced to move units after the first day so they could accommodate overbooking and poor planning and refused to compensate us or help move bags and coolers. When we got off the water someone took our boat slip and ropes to tie off with. Staff is lazy and need to take lessons in customer service. Only reason this place is still in business is cause of its location on the water."

"If you're desperate, stay here. Make sure you confirm room type, king versus double queen. After you confirm your rate thru Expedia, get ready for another 3.5% added to your bill upon checkout for credit card usage, even if they tell you what your "exact" charge is on check-in. Who pays cash for hotel rooms? Incidentally, there's NO elevator!! For 2nd floor access"

"The hotel was clean. Was looking forward to relaxing and watching TV after a long trip. The TV was not working. I called a number for the hotel and got an AI response, I left a message detailing the problem with the TV, and left room number and my phone number. At no time did any one contact me or come to the room to remedy the problem. There was no one else at the Hotel that was working. I was not happy about that."

"I stayed in a main lodge room and loved all the amenities (jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and balcony), but I was also sandwiched between the bar/restaurant and a very creaky upstairs floor and could hear them walking (an elephant, perhaps?) so I would not recommend it if you’re looking to relax and are a light sleeper. Everything else was great, though!"
