There is a private court yard and it is a beautiful castle in a quiet little town. This is family owned and they are very nice ,sweet and hospitable. "Staff were amazing! We arrived a day early and they managed to get us a room. They helped with directions, any issues we had, as well as having food available for purchase. There are two grocery stores close by, one next door and another a bit further down the street. This was very handy when you didn’t want to eat out. The kitchen was very small, part of the hallway to the bedroom but was well equipped and had a dishwasher. Breakfast was average, staff helpful and good choices. It was about a fifteen minute walk uphill to get to the center of town and everything you needed was there. Thursday market was great in the town square. The archeological museum and Gaspar museum were well worth seeing as well as the two big churches."

"Had a lovely experience at hotel St. Fiacre. The staff is very friendly and everyone speaks multiple languages, making communication easy. I traveled with an adult son and a teenager, we had a very spacious room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the Bourscheid Castle on one side, and a view of the sunset over the town on the other. Having air conditioning in the room was GREAT! This summer there has been a heat wave in Europe. We had a mechanical issue with the heater on one side of the room being on, but it was repaired very quickly as soon as we reported it to the staff. Absolutely plan to reserve a table for dinner at the restaurant of the hotel! We tried the schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious! The service was impeccable. Breakfast buffet was also good. There was also information available in the front lobby regarding hikes and places to visit in the area. What a great hotel, definitely recommend!"
