Was easy to grab this little oasis in a pristine location to grab some much needed getaway time with the family. The surrounding area is low key and relaxed, plenty to do and see or just walk out and enjoy the beach!
We used this property as an extension to our home a few blocks away. We had a ball and enjoyed visiting and watching the sunsets together as well as beach time. I will use this property again in the future. Location cannot be beat! All the essentials were available.

This property sits right on the gulf of mexico. The sunsets and ocean view are amazing and thats without leaving the patio.Clean beaches gorgeous water quiet. Can't say enough about this location.
Great place to stay. The location and rates are unbeatable, It's right on the beach!! Has everything you could need to have a nice time.
It's very quiet and relaxing, the beach is beautiful.
The place itself could use a bit of TLC and one of the rooms had a damp smell, but wasn't bad or overwhelming.
Overall we liked the place and are already planning our next getaway.
This cottage was the perfect place for the 2 of us. We wanted a nice peaceful low populated beach and this vacation rental was the perfect place. It was the peace and tranquility we needed. Beautiful beaches ocean and perfect size private place to stay.
Location outweighs any imperfections.
Some general maintenance is much needed.
In a safe and convenient location. Hard to beat being directly on the water.
Cozy, private spot with semi- private walkway to the beach. Having the deck with table and chairs and view of the water made it very easy to enjoy family time. Andrew was easily reached and replied quickly to any questions or requests.
Nice little house on the beach. Clean and nicely provisioned. Located at the end of a few small motels and the beginning of large home neighborhood. Felt safe and relatively private. Million dollar view from the covered back porch.
The location is perfect if you are looking for something semi private and quiet with beautiful unspoiled views. If you are looking for elegance and modern amenities then you should look elsewhere.
This is a perfect beachfront properly for a getaway. Its steps off the beach, with restaurants and shopping closeby. It's in a quiet location making it perfect to relax. Lots of sharks teeth on the beach. The beach is beautiful and clean. The property is very cozy.
The host was quick to respond to questions and even let us check in a little early! Highly recommend!
We plan to return!
The view of the beach was so nice. The setting is quiet, peaceful and private. The cottage has an ideal layout and had everything we needed. A partially covered deck allowed for meals outside. There were comfortable beach chairs and a beach umbrella for us to use. We’ve never stayed at the same place twice, but I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Loved the view from the building. Really enjoyed our time as it was private & quite beach.
Need some cleanup to the AC vent other than that really loved the place.
I was able to communicate with the property manager and he was nice enough to mail my Fitbit for no cost as I left it there by mistake. I would definately go back if I have the option in future.
The location of this bungalow was great. Even better that the one next to it was vacant at the time. We spent everyday at the beach in front. The beach is amazing. There were plenty of beach towels available. We had to take the beach chairs, umbrella, and noodles from next door which we assumed was the sister property. Other than that the bungalow was comfortable and had good parking right in front. The back deck was a plus to watch the sunset and turtle that would come over once per day to eat. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place but run down
We used to rent this place for more then ten years. With the new owner the house was dirty (dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets, cockroaches, dirty dishes and pans) and run down (a sliding door which doesn‘t slide, broken shutters and blinds, an almost collapsing table) and all this for far more than double the price we used to pay in earlier years.
The location is still gorgeous.

Spectacular view. Nice quiet beach. Unit was comfortable. A few up dates and repairs could be made. Sliding glass door had broken lock that made me uncomfortable. Sink in the bathroom could be higher for someone average height. Overall we paid the price for the beach front. It would help a lot to just paint outside and do a few up dates.

Thank goodness for the view!
The place needs updating in the worse way! You are paying for the wonderful sunsets! The picture is for the other unit and not the one we stayed in. The outdoor furniture was mostly broken; one of the loungers that was broken was tossed in the foliage in the back yard. It was tricky walking down to the beach as the pathway was overgrown. Not worth the $$$ spent.
This cottage is what old Florida was when we were kids. A great little escape for a local. Very well updated inside, so comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked you will not need a thing. And plenty of beach towels and several chairs to take down to the sand. The beach was so private and quiet. Loved the little deck out back as well for extra living space. Easy to get to Publix for all your sundries and grilling needs to use on the two available grills out back. Also the unit was back from the main road and each unit had ample parking on their own side. Pet friendly - even the dog didn’t want to leave. Also a short drive to Charlotte Sports Park if you want to catch some spring training games. But come for the beach. Wish we were able to snag more nights during a busy week but we will be back for sure.
Wonderful location but property is in poor condition
We love this beach and have been coming here or years. We have stayed at Beach Cottage A multiple times but chose Beach Cottage B since it has 2 bedrooms. The property is in very poor condition and was not clean. There is a hole in the bathroom shower, and the shower floor feels like it will fall in. The sliding glass door handle was duct taped on and felt like it would fall off. The kitchen is not very well appointed with a very old coffee pot and toaster oven. The hot water heater is leaky and rusty. The AC worked fine for the beginning part of our stay; however, it got up to 80 the last 2 days we were there. Andrew, the property manager, was responsive and sent someone out that night (it turns out the filter was extremely dirty, so they pulled it out and did not replace it, so there was no filter for 2 days). The view is wonderful and the beach is lovely. The property is listed for sale and seems like it will be a tear down and that the owner is just waiting for it to sell. Luxury pricing for a mediocre house.
Overall, we were very pleased with the home. The location was great, just a short walk down a boardwalk and we were on the beach. I hate to say much negative, but you asked for my input, and I prefer being honest. The house is in need of some repair. We struggled with the sliding door not opening easily and the handle needs repair before it breaks off. I did communicate this to the management team, but nothing happened while we were there. My wife also noticed water sitting on the hot water heater and in the pan below, so I am sure it is near its end of life. She was even afraid to wash dishes or clothes over fear that it might start leaking badly. We also reported that. But look, properties that are used by guests coming and going will have issues, we just had expected those to be addressed while we were there and they were not. Last thing of note, we saw two different non-poisionus snakes between the deck and the boardwalk. They didn't bother either of us, but my wife is not a big fan of snakes and did not want to walk to or from the beach alone. Just a note in case someone has kids. Please note that we enjoyed our stay there and if these couple of issues are fixed it is a nice place to stay.
