「We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Le Lion d'Or. The location couldn't be better—an easy walk to shops, restaurants, bars, historical sites, and even a grocery store. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with a warm atmosphere clearly geared toward an American clientele. 「The hotel is pretty good except reception staff. Of course it's a 5 star but some points I'd like to share with everyone. 1.Actually there is no Netflix as they write and reception staff doesn't know what is Netflix. 2. If you dress more formal,reception staff will welcome you more, otherwise they go through SOP and treat you coldly. 」

「Excellent for a short stay, one to three nights probably ideal. Good location to visit local sights. The Bayeux tapestry, the D Day beaches and the pretty town of Honfleur. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Simple and tasty breakfast. Everything very clean. Lovely pool. Easy parking. Perfect for transfer to the ferry.」
