“The breakfast was excellent! If you are parking on the premises I advise reserving a spot in advance. There were no spaces available our first night but they were able to accommodate us for the rest of the stay. The staff was nice, hotel is very well maintained. For summer travelers, be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned which necessitated keeping windows open at night to sleep, but then we had to endure the noise from the restaurant in the courtyard which ran as late as midnight on……

“The hotel is pretty good except reception staff. Of course it's a 5 star but some points I'd like to share with everyone. 1.Actually there is no Netflix as they write and reception staff doesn't know what is Netflix. 2. If you dress more formal,reception staff will welcome you more, otherwise they go through SOP and treat you coldly. ”

Seul bémol, les chambres sont aménagées avec du mobilier de grand hôtel parisien avec tête de lit en skaï, pas du tout ce qu'on attend dans ce lieu historique.”

“This is a very unique and very charming property. Was our second stay here and loved it. This is so far away from a standard hotel as it’s possible to get!! But in a positive way. Not too easy to find at first as the entrance is located down a narrow alley and the roads are narrow to negotiate. We had off street parking as parking on the street is near impossible. The garden is lovely and having breakfast outside was just so chilled out. There is no air con as the building is protected but they……
