「I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you. 「We had a hockey tournament in Blaine, MN, and decided to stay at a lake house instead of the standard hotel. The house was the perfect size for our family of four, and our boys loved fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Communication with Kevin was great, and the weekend trip went smoothly. To top it off, we have a perfect view of the Northern Lights from the end of the dock.」

「We stayed to go to the mall of america. We wanted somewhere outside the city and this home was just right for us! 2 bedrooms were clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom was great with the stacked washer and dryer. The home was comfortable and completely perfect! I recommend this home for anyone looking for a lake front home.」

「Our stay was one of the most relaxing and amazing vacations my family has taken. Our kids loved swimming in the lake, fishing, making smores at the fire pit, and warming up in the hot tub. My parents enjoyed the spacious living/great room with beautiful lake views. My wife and I got to relax because everyone had something of their liking (haha). Rebecca was attentive and helpful in the check-in process and my questions along the way.」

「The home is beautiful Really no complaints I stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and they were so accommodating for everyone the owner is super nice and there backyard is perfect for pictures and the hot tub was a huge plus! Only complaint was there was no microwave haha but they do have a toster over that worked fine :) Just keep in mind also the owners do live upstairs but were quiet and kept to there self」

「This was a great location for a long girls weekend. Really nice space outdoors to enjoy and 2 comfortable beds with comfortable living space to relax in. (If you need to have adults sleep on the pull out/futon or bunk beds it may not be as comfy for bad backs ect- but the space is there if you need it) Really easy access and the long sloped sidewalk down to the unit made it easy to bring in luggage on wheels. Host was great and responsive. Just keep in mind there is no sink in the kitchenette...

「The leaves were exploding in color during our stay at Balsam Lake. The cabin was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Quiet, comfortable and beautiful. We brought our canoe to explore the lake and we found some lovely wineries/breweries nearby. We would absolutely stay again!」
