Otter Lake North Lake Hotels

"If you're a sound sensitive person, beware. These rooms are not soundproof. Normal walking sounds like stomping. Weekends can get busy and loud, late into the night. I use a white noise machine set pretty loud and I was still kept up later than usual on a Saturday night. The kitchenette wasn't stocked with anything. But that's typical. I always bring a cook kit because I never trust places to have basic equipment. Other than that it was as classic as it gets. Decent breakfast. Satisfactory bed. Clean enough. Nice staff. "

"Glad they have a couple slides and pools to swim in, bummed that the waterpark closed at 8pm and didn't even open until 10am the hotel overall was amazing "

"For the price, this was an excellent place to stay!!! It was close to everything, which made it easy to go back to motel as needed throughout the day. We had trouble with our heater, but it was fixed while we were out. Staff was extra nice! Room was extra big, with a very large bathroom. Only little complaint was that bathroom floor stayed wet most of the day after using the walk-in shower... Which made floor a little slippery after shower! Breakfast was nothing special. We would definitely stay here again!!"

"Don’t let the name of the hotel throw you off — we would give the Marv Herzog Hotel six stars. From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent. David at check-in was friendly, welcoming, and very efficient, which made the start of our stay easy and enjoyable. The room was quite large and very comfortable. It’s not fancy, but it is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The covered parking at no charge is also a nice bonus. We went down for the 5 PM drinks and snacks, which was a really nice touch. Linda was the bartender and helped create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was included and offered a great combination of hot and cold items. Everything was fresh and plentiful, and Jennie, who was serving breakfast, was warm and attentive. We left perfectly satisfied. My only complaint is that they use disposable Styrofoam cups instead of china mugs, which I really can’t stand. Aside from that small detail, everything was excellent. I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend anyone visiting Frankenmuth consider the Marv Herzog Hotel. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and offers great value with some thoughtful touches."

"We enjoyed our stay so much. We were in town for a funeral and it was so nice to watch all of the animals during our sad time. There was plenty of room for our family to visit and play games together. The host was very accommodating and good communication. Such a beautiful house. We loved everything about it"

"This was an excellent places to stay! Room was clean, bed was great (firm), breakfast was perfect (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, breads)! We would definitely stay here again! Only suggestion... Wash walls in room. We had marks under light switch in bathroom and on wall above heat/air unit. "

"The cabin was perfect. It was accomadating to pets although we opted to leaving the pug home this time, but they had a tie out for the dogs and even food bowls under the sink. Everything was clean and organzied. Beds were comfy. Parking was right on site. There are walking trails all around. Our favorite part was the HUGE window in the back facing the wooded area. It was such a nice relaxing getaway, we cant wait to come back in the warmer months!"
