New owners have done some cottage updates, Cottages were well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the location for exploring the island, biking, golf and day trips north, east and to Charlottetown. We would stay there again.

We stayed with a pet in a duplex cottage at end of season (mid-October), and liked the quiet country location, expansive grounds, and amenities in nearby North Rustico and its harbor. The accomodations were clean, adequately furnished and fairly priced. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the Bay of St. Lawrence from the deck one morning, and in warmer weather would have spent more time there. Our cottage was set back about 50 yards from the road, which was great if you travel with pets. Bathroom was a bit cramped, and the very loud fan needs repair or replacement, but overall Dreamweavers more than met our needs. Be sure to check out the Olde VIllage Bakery (we had to stop there every time we passed it) and Blue Mussel Cafe nearby, and the beach at the National Park in Cavendish.

It was a tired property, pool was closed. House was nice but bathrooms have a musty smell. Great location and nice owner. It’s for sale so it felt like work was not put into it.

Property itself is older but everything was clean the Barbeques were very clean. The area is central to getting around the island. I found the bed uncomfortable and there were only two pillows both very flat. The cottage is very clean enough room decor very dated and kitchen could use some more utensils such as a carrot peeler and tablespoons we had just teaspoons. Overall it was fine just a few small issues.

When we arrived, it was very cold in the cottage, and it didn’t warm up until late that night. Although advertised as an executive cottage, the tv was miniature and it was very small. Also, it was not waterfront, as was advertised.

The owner was lovely, but the property was very dated and units quite unkept. I had to wash the dishes because of the mouse droppings found in the cupboards and did take photos to back my concerns. For the amount paid to stay it was unacceptable to have to wash the cutlery and dishes before using, and have no housing keeping for an entire week.

The property is in total disrepair. Paint is peeling on every ceiling in every room. Paint is peeling off the walls esp. in bathroom. There are no smoke detectors. The deck is rotting as is the skirting around the cottage, exterior is in dire need of paint. Ceiling fixture in bathoom is rusty, jetted tub only works by pushing a gfi switch (this is not to code, potentially dangerous). Walls were dirty, furniture in living room smelled. The entire cottage smelled of mold/mildew even with all the windows open. Microwave was rusty on interior and exterior. Electrical outlets were missing covers. We were forced to stay the first night as neither expedia or us could reach the owner. The next day he refused to refund us for the full 5 days we booked and would only give us a partial refund if we removed our google review. We have close to 30 photos documenting these issues. Even then he refused to refund our MC, stating he couldn't remember his pin to do this. He wanted us to wait another 3 hrs while he went back home to try and find his pin or take an etransfer (we don't use our phones for banking, so that was out) We had to demand cash which he was refusing until we threatened to call the police. Frankly I feel we should have been fully refunded. The pics he posts are not even close to reality, its a shame he is getting away with this.

A great stay in a very convenient location

Had an excellent stay at the cabins for 6 nights. They were very cozy and clean and the staff were very friendly and available. A great location if you have trip plans on the north side of the island. Close to cavendish. North Rustico is beautiful with many great restaurants.

An ideal place to stay!

This is an ideal place to stay for a family vacation. The location is perfect, close to Cavendish beach and national park, Anne of Green Gables heritage place, Charlottetown airport (30-minute drive), and a fresh seafood store in the harbour. The kids love the swimming pool, play set and bathtub. We love the kitchen and laundry, clean and with everything we needed. The owners are very nice people and they provided useful information and wonderful services. Thank you for giving us a relaxing family vacation!
